About my avatar.

This Turkish Angora I rescued from the Lewisville pound in 2004 - had to pull her out wearing leather gloves. Had this under-the-breath EVIL Halloween howl. I connected that with a guest that joined Galloway and Company at that time - Jennifer Engel aka The Little Ball of HATE. Hence I refer to this cat as The Little Furball of HATE or TLFBoH. Believe me, it fits.

Thought id create this thread because I was looking at some members online and there are some quite wacky names and it made me curious

My username on here is barney because barney was always my favourite character off the Simpsons.

It's Fletch because he was funny and a cool customer in all the Fletch movies of the 80's. I'm also a big Chevy Chase fan.

Pjtoadie comes from two different names. My name is Patrick and I used to work at TGI Fridays many years ago and one of the cooks was also named Patrick so one day he told me that when we work together people can call me PJ so there's no mixup. I got Toadie from this guy at broadcasting school who said I reminded him of the character Toadie from A Christmas Story (the boy on the left)

So then I put the two names together and got Pjtoadie :)

Well that makes two of us. Nice to meet ya Patrick! Great name BTW!

Good so you got to enjoy our reign in the 90's... Albeit at 11-12 years old lol

I was glued to that TV on Sundays since I was 9. We went 7-9 that year and almost made the playoffs. I remember watching the MNF game afterward since we needed either NO or STL to lose in order for us to clinch a spot. I can't remember which team needed to lose. Lol

Always been a Troy fan. Username is obviously a play on words that is based on a fan sign I saw on an NFL Films video. The sign read "Aikmania"

My avatar is my '79 T/A. You can barely see but my fiance and I are sitting through the T-Tops...engagement photos.

I attend that Atlanta-Dallas game in 1990 at the old Fulton County Stadium. I bought tickes off the street. I wanted to see the Cowboys make the playoffs by beating the Falcons and Emmit break 1,000 yards as a rookie. Neither happened, unfortunately. But it was a great experience.

As for my name, it's a combination of a nickname and the fact that I used to take karate and fight in tournaments.

Mine means very little. I registered for the old DMN site probably 10-12 years ago while sitting in Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville in New Orleans having drinks during Jazz fest. The name has stuck since.

That's a fun place to be and a fun time to be there!

Yep. Rodney Peete had a pretty good game. We went 11-5 that year. Didn't we beat the Bears (with a Ray Horton on our defense) and then lost in the Silverdome to the Lions? Anywho, I remember that game distinctly. I was pretty pissed. But that was merely a precursor to World Dominance!
