I chose my username after the 1982 Rush album, Signals.

My avatar is not in anyway related to the album. It just fit so I used it.

My name, 5Stars, comes from every woman I have been with.

It's always, "oh, 5Stars, you are so good! Please do it again!"

Uhhhh......they're not telling you they are grading on a "100 star" scale!

I seem to recall answering this in the past, but don't mind duplicating the info. Ologan is the first initial (O), and last name (Logan) of one of my favorite Cowboys from the early days, Obert Logan.
He was a long shot to make the team as a DB out of little Trinity University in San Antonio. I was raised in SA, so his making it awas special. He moved on after a couple of seasons,IIRC, and ended his career with the e-girls. I've never held that against him, though.

dogberry is a comedic incompetant . He has a high opinion of himself. In spite these character traits, he is important to the restoration of all that is right and good in the play. Providence (Shakespeare) has a sense of humor.

The Game of Thrones has no dogberries.

Hopefully, the Play of the Dallas Cowboys will be like Shakespeare's and not like Martin's.

Well, mine because my name is Gil, and it was also from a scene in the movie Parenthood with Steve Martin which I think is pretty freaking funny. A picture of him from that scene used to be my avatar until I changed it to me as a toddler in my Cowboy helmet.

Ethio for the Ethiopia, where I was born and raised till the age of 16. Star for that star on the helmet.

It is the name of Sanka's push cart in Cool Runnings. It is also what they call the French dubbed version of the film.

I have used this name on each Cowboys board that I have been a part of. Here's why:

I was with my Dad and my Pop, and I got to shake Chuck Howley's hand after a Mountaineer game in the early to mid 60's. I am not sure but I think it was after he played for the Bears, but before he played for the Cowboys. I think he was working his Dad' s car dealership at the time for his father, because he was ill.

Some time later we were watching pro football on TV, and Dallas was on. They zoomed in on this one player as he was taking his helmet off. He was mean, rough and nasty looking and I loved the big blue star on his helmet.

My Dad says, "do you know who that guy is, .. do you remember him?"
I said, "no."

He said, "that is Chuck Howley, we met him, he played for WV and now he plays for the Cowboys." - - WV Cowboy

After Dad mentioned it, I do remember shaking his hand, .. it seemed huge to a 10-12 yr old boy.

Back in the 60's, seeing someone on TV, and seeing them in person never happened, .. it was like two different worlds. He may have been the first person that I had met in person that I then saw in TV. Not sure if that is right, but I don't know who else it could be.

It was magical to see someone I had met on TV, .. it was surreal. I couldn't take my eyes off of him.

Anyway, from that day on, I have been a Cowboys fan. Funny how that all happened that way.

Chuck Howley was the original WV Cowboy because he played for both, .. I am simply WV Cowboy Jr., or WVfanCowboyfan

Mines just from gaming back in the late 90's & early 2000's. I used to use it all the time, no matter the site. In the last 8 years or so I rarely use it unless it's for a game. Otherwise I just pick random names, whatever tickles my funny bone at the time. A year or two ago I registered at another Cowboys forum out there in the universe but I used one of the many other names I register on internet sites with. Boy oh boy, did they get their panties in a bunch over that one.

Wasn't really a big rush fan back in the day.

But... Later on... I could hear their "brilliance"

Distant early warning is a fave!
