Is there a silver lining?

fellow freaks--- yeah you guys that keep coming here to check in and check out....Is there a silver

lining or a ray of real hope left?...if we beat the Eagles and just one other team out of next 4

we are guaranteed 4th seed in playoffs...that is right 8-8 and 4th seed in 2020 NFC playoffs.

But we are so sick of one and done or win wild card game and then done.. .is there any way

we can turn on the "elite switch" and be a force to be reckoned with 4 games left?....will at

least some of you guys offer a real possibility of this occuring ...or are we destined for failure?

give me the straight scoop if there is any real hope left?...thanks..GORICO

silver? the only thing I want to see when I come into one of your threads is platinum. double or more of it, if possible
 
For once in ten years, they have to play defense that impacts the game. It has to get three and outs, switch field position, sets up short fields for the offense, and make life difficult for opposing quarterbacks. It has to do more than hope opposing offenses screw up past midfield.

aww Mav...you cool...but most everyone hates these plats that have been losing this year and managment twice has taken them off the board

The Cowboys are 3-6 after that 3-0 start. Garrett is still the HC. There is no magic elite switch that you can flip to win in this league.

Sure. We have the ability to run the ball to play clock control, so that helps. Will we, is the question. Our defense just needs to face crappy offenses. If those stars align, anything can happen.

You don't need to look for a silver lining to making the playoffs, that's a good thing.
 
It is that maybe Dallas can be contenders in another 2 or 3 years.
 
No silver lining.

Zero chance this team does anything with The mad clapper at the helm.

ya i dont think even if we somehow miraculously won super bowl this year that Garrett would be given an extension
 
Not really. The Cowboys have not made it to an NFC championship game as anything less than a 1 or 2 seed since 1980. The SB since 1975. And in 1980 they were 12-4 losing a tie breaker for the division. Right now Dallas isn't even a typical 6-6 team, they are a bad 6-6 on its way to getting worse. The Cowboys are not playing motivated football. Best case scenario looks like 7-9 or 6-10. Yes they could still win the division leading to being soundly defeated.

I type this out hoping the exact opposite happens as I am usually dead wrong. When I give an opinion that comes from what I truly believe straight from the heart, then type it out, it's immediately cursed. I could jinx anything. Watch this time be the one time I'm right.
 
If we pulled out that ugly win against the Patriots things would be different.

Season is a mess, another one and done. Hopefully Garrett is gone soon.

Flamma--- this is one time i hope it is cursed..but it will probably be the one time you hit a bullseye....how can a team be almost #1 after 3 games and then lose 6 of next 9.....that is so screwed up
