we are guaranteed 4th seed in playoffs...that is right 8-8 and 4th seed in 2020 NFC playoffs.

Ok so first off I'm doubting they even go. 8-8. Might even be as bad as 7-9 or 6-10.

ONLY Silver lining like others have said is Garret getting his walking papers and that's probably even more like a copper lining with Jerry still around.

I don't know. It looks like they got lazy. I don't know how else to describe it. They stopped playing motivated football, that's clear to see. That's on the coaching staff or something else is going on we don't know about.

yes 100%..when a team no longer plays inspired its always on the coaching....last year our defense was almost scary in how many 3 and outs we had....how we put our foot on Saints neck that one night game....now we only put our foot on our own necks

And got lucky to do it. Had the Packers not gotten lucky and knock the 49ers out of the playoffs I do not think the Cowboys beat them. Had Jimmy stayed we win 4 straight. The gap between JJ and Switzer is so enormous that it cannot be represented on any chart that is of reasonable size.

Same goes for 2007. That was a Parcells built team Wade Phillips squandered. Look around the league to the coaches that seem to have success wherever they go. We've seen it time and time again. Coaching matters.

Actually I'd like to get Bill Cowher in as coach. I know that's never going to happen. But I also know there is no way this Cowboys team plays as lazy as they do with him as coach.

Well Our divisional oppo's are even suckier than We are, so We'll probably end up winning the NFC East
After that, crazy things sometimes happen in sport, a rash of key injuries, a tipped ball, an improbable muff, a missed tackle, a boneheaded penalty at a crucial time and We're in the Superbowl.
Far more likely that We'll get Our botties spanked by the 1st half decent team We face, but hey, I can at least still dream.
