You guys saying, "no, no, no" and not even considering the idea are missing the point of the question.
We don't need to spend a high pick to get a good quarterback in terms of the ones available in this draft, but it's possible to get the guy we really like anyway, possibly even in the 2nd round because the real problem with this class is that there's no real clear cut winner, which makes them appear to be weak.
But that's not the case. They're all just good, and any of them could go between rounds 1-3 because it's pretty close in talent in terms of the top 7 or so in this class.
I personally like Corrall (reminds me of Rivers) and Strong (reminds me of P. Manning). If we spent a 1st on either of those guys, I won't be upset.
Corrall and Strong seem to be sleepers in this class.
You have to look past what people are saying and look at these players on your own here.
I also like Bailey Zappe.
There's also Sam Howell and Kenny Pickett who can also play some football.
These guys are all long gone before the 4th round, imo. So, do the math, if numbers mean anything to you in terms of how "weak" this class is.
Then, you have guys who are more gambles and may need more developmental time like Malik Willis and Desmond Ridder, and more.
In hindsight, this is going to be one of the stronger quarterback classes in the NFL, I suspect.
