Is there any way were not taking Pat White?

Mike Mayock loves the guy and thinks he is a 2nd round value. I think Mayock is one of the better talent evaluators out there. I would not take him higher than 4-5th round even though I think he will make an impact in the NFL.

Actually his stock rose because he was the best QB at senior bowl...but whatever floats your boat.

He also threw and ran well at the combine, and put on weight everytime he's been measured this off season.

I don't think he'll be a first rounder or anything, but yes, his stock has risen this off season.

Enough of this "wildcat" stuff....defensive people will have spent all offseason tearing it apart on film, and the teams that try to run it next yr are going to get it squashed. Even by the end of last yr it was having little to no success. It was a surprise, a gimmick that caught people offguard (mainly NE that one game).

So throw out 4 years of scouting and evaluation because he looked good for one day against a defense made up of a bunch of guys that don't know each other and have restrictions on coverages and blitzes during the game.

I have trouble believing even yourself said 3 months ago that this guy was a legitimate second round pick and NFL QB.

He will be a "epic failure" at QB in the NFL

I just think too much stock is put into the combine and these all star games. Over the years they have really changed scouting from what they were brought along to actually do.
