But the dead money will follow us for a bit, unless the team takes a hit, I think, need to look at the contract info again.2028. That's when we have outs from Dak's contract.

We will most likely be picking in the top 3 in 2026!
I heard that it’s a good QB draft too!
Hopefully we can drop all the way to #1.
Arch Manning anyone?
Everyone has cap hits down the road. Denver is still paying Russel Wison in Pittsburgh and will be paying him next year as well. But the dead money will follow us for a bit, unless the team takes a hit, I think, need to look at the contract info again.
True, but other teams seem to work it, we use it as an excuse not to get into FA.Everyone has cap hits down the road. Denver is still paying Russel Wison in Pittsburgh and will be paying him next year as well.
totally right!! but 1 think they know very well......$$$$$$$$$$There is no plan beyond save money.
That's it.
They didn't know what to do in this situation even though the entire coaching staff was on a one year contract.
They don't know what they're doing tomorrow, let alone a year from now.
There is no secret plan. They don't know what they're doing. It's really very simple.
Sadly, yes.We do?
BLASPHEMY!A certain QB whose grandfather and both uncles will be in the Pro Football Hall of fame. Is that the plan.
It just shows you what happens when a coach and GM get together and determine they need to get rid of a QB they traded a boatload of picks on and paid a huge salary. Cap hit and wasted draft picks be damned. In one year based on performance, they knew Russel Wilson was a declining player and chose to get rid of him. Jerry doesn't have the stones to make that move and get rid of Dak if Dak sucks this year. All this talk about Jerry being a wildcatter and risk taker were long long ago before he had his face lift.True, but other teams seem to work it, we use it as an excuse not to get into FA.
Try and stay around the rim. No championships planned in the near future. We should all be listening to the messenger very closely to decipher what is really going on here in Dallas. That will never work. They will come in just above the league bottom as always. Top 15 pick. But never 1st.
Who? I only see a scattering of them. Though I do see some rooks/youngsters w/ hope.Sadly, yes.
There, fixed it for ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (See bolded)Don't get your hopes up. The highest pick Dallas has had in recent memory was wasted on a RB of all things. JJ isn't remotely close to being an actual GM's.
It will only follow us if Jerry pushes more down the road. Which would prolong the misery. But the dead money will follow us for a bit, unless the team takes a hit, I think, need to look at the contract info again.
I think Jerrie is delusional though, just a player away from a Super Bowl, won’t push it into this year, but take the hits over the long term, then use it as the reason we can’t afford any FA.It will only follow us if Jerry pushes more down the road. Which would prolong the misery.
Cap hit this year for Dak is 89 mil. What Jerry should do is push even more of it into this year so we might be able to win something in 26.
A scattering is enough to get you the pick we have right now.Who? I only see a scattering of them. Though I do see some rooks/youngsters w/ hope.
