Quick question.... how could this be a playoff game for just Dak, but not for the other Dallas Cowboys players in a TEAM SPORT???

This isn't boxing, tennis, or golf my man.

That's like saying this is a bumpy flight rough landing for the pilot.... but there's other people on the airplane. Isn't it a bumpy flight and rough landing for everyone else too??
My Man lol. ok Im saying for Dak because he is our QB that will be here for awhile due to his contract, is the face of the franchise next to JJ and plays the most important position on team. I also went on to say that the defense needs to show up as well as KM. Because Dak plays QB he is judged more so than any player on team just like any other QB. So right or wrong the games are mostly judged by how he plays. Like I said earlier this is not a Dak hate post I want him to succeed so our team is successful. But this game will reflect on him no matter what happens. That's just the way it is. Also thanks for pointing out that it's not boxing or ping pong. That will help for future posts

Im not a Dak hater at all and I want him to be great so we have success. But in all fairness it has been along time since he won a big game for us against a top opponent. Well here comes one, this could erase the bad taste from last weeks loss. I feel he needs to have a very good game to give not just us but the team the confidence going forward.
Now the defense has to play well and Kellen Moore needs to step up as well. That's a post for another day but KM is just as much a problem as anything else on this team.

No...it's just a game. The proof will be in the pudding.

This is the biggest game of the year….unless they lose then we move on and the Giants game becomes the most important game of the year.

Reality is this game isn’t that big in the grand scheme of things. Really it determines if the Cowboys have a chance at the division and that’s about it. Lose and they are still heavy favorites for a wild card spot with another soft stretch of schedule upcoming.

oops , playoff games and Dak doesnt mix well , isnt it.
Hopefully this may change this year, if D plays up to potential and keep their assignments and not freelance

If he loses, people will call it a "playoff" game.

If he wins, they won't.

Agreed.

Even if he went 35-35, 450, 6 TDs, the response would be “Vikings D is garbage”. “Worst 8-1 team ever LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL”
:hammer:Oh they will say….it’s just Kirk Cousins!!

The Goalpost will always move

I really see two soft games. The rest is tough

New York - Wild card team
Colts - New coach, Ryan back at QB
Texans - Win
@ Jags - Win
Philly - #1 seed
@ Titans - Winning their division
@ Washington - Wild card team

Week 18 IMO will be winner takes a wild card spot.

10 wins should get us in. The 3 game stretch against the Colts, Texans and Jags is pivotal. We win those and win one of the final 3 we should get in.

Yeah 10 wins pretty much guarantees a playoff spot. Unless the cowboys drop both games against Minnesota and NY I just can’t see a scenario where they miss out on the post season.

Washington still plays NY twice and has SF before they play us again. Either they’re out of it or most likely have handed the giants 2 Ls. The giants also still play philly twice. If Washington is in it week 18 the giants may actually be the team they are looking to overtake. Dallas really just needs to take care of business against lesser teams in Indy Houston and Jacksonville. They do that they really just need to find 1 win between the other 4 games on the schedule. With a 5-3 conference record they are in a solid spot for tie breakers too.

Dak still sucks til proven otherwise, he’s mediocre guy everyone saw in 18, when they had to go get copper to save him. I don’t hate on the Cowboys, I hate on the guy that’s holding us back. He was a three star recruit out of Sulphur, La. Not some amazing college prospect, lost big games then too. Fact is he has bad footwork, bad anticipation, no progression on reads, he’s proned to bad decisions in crunch time. There is an eye test, just like anything else in life and it matters. The stats don’t tell you if turnover happens at crucial time in the game, stats may not tell how the guy performs against winning teams, stats may not tell you that the guy hasn’t won a single time of possession this season; means the defense is stuck having to play longer and getting gassed. Just like stats don’t tell you that Cousins hasn’t had Jefferson his whole career and he’s actually 1-2 in playoffs; unless your counting his rookie year where he had a few starts and came in the fourth quarter? You Dak fanatics pick and choose your stats and don’t understand this guy won’t be going anywhere at anytime. You keep trying to sell it and I’ll keep being a realist.

This is a game the Cowboys need to win, but it certainly isn’t the equivalent of a playoff game. Even if the Cowboys win it’s not going to satisfy the Dak detractors until he starts winning big games in December and January. Beating Kirk Cousins isn’t going to make anyone who lacks confidence in Dak feel any differently about him.

Lmao. If we lose then Dak can’t win big games. If we win then this team was not that good. There record don’t matter. They were not that good. But it’s a playoff game for this team,.
