On the roster at DC.com it shows 56 as a 251 lb who is on the IR named Troy Davis. I don't think so.
That's Brent. He's wearing #56 currently. Woodysgirl posted a tweet a few days back with that info in a thread.

Thanks EST. Brent looks a little out of shape but we can use all the help we can get on D so bring him on.

Isn't that Brown's old number? I would actually like to see that. Dedicate himself to honoring his late friend - still a sad scene but a step in the right direction.

I think there are better ways for Brent to honor Brown. It's a nice thought but I think the constant reminder and the likely media debate that it would spark isn't a good idea for the Brown family to have to hear.

Looks better than Hayden already!
I somewhat disagree. Tact is not always a media strong-suit, especially regarding sensitive matters. In this age of sensationalism, it is likely the media will work the tragedy angle regardless of how much Brent or the franchise does not publicly acknowledge it.I think there are better ways for Brent to honor Brown. most of the good 0 or 1 techs look out of shape. That position is not for the physique conscious football player.
