Why are you doing this today
Why are you doing this today
I wondered that too when I first saw Parsons' comments. In the end I'm sure they can still move forward as it's really about business.Don’t mean to throw another Micah post out there but does anyone think this can be fixed? Too much damage? Egos bruised?
I am trying to remember how these public spats typically go with superstars. My memory says it can’t be fixed.
Am I wrong?
It'll take like 2 minutes lol David I'll give him whatever he wants lolYeah, Jerry just needs to pick up the phone and call his agent, get him signed and all will be forgotten
We had no real options in those situations.See Zeke, lamb and Dak why wouldn't it happen
Jerry had zero leverage in all 3 negotiations.
That's fine but ez hasn't played in any games yet if he has a GREAT pre season that may really make me believe something can happen to get Micah gone lolWe had no real options in those situations.
Trance to replace Dak?
Tolbert to replace CD?
Zeke was just stupid decision, after running him to the ground on his first contract.
Regarding Micah:
We added Fowler and resigned Williams and drafted back to back 2nd round DE's in Kneeland and EZ.
They are quickly falling in love with EZ.
Seems like they have some built in options here, that we did not have for CD or Dak.
They are not in a rush to get rid of Micah. They most likely keep him this season, evaluate EZ, tag and trade Micah. That's fine but ez hasn't played in any games yet if he has a GREAT pre season that may really make me believe something can happen to get Micah gone lol
None of them replace Micah. We had no real options in those situations.

Once a player says he's done with a team, that means something to me. I'm not mad at him or anything and I'll take into account he's still a young man and that he could just be playing a card but still...Don’t mean to throw another Micah post out there but does anyone think this can be fixed? Too much damage? Egos bruised?

Micah does not need to be replaced by 1 player.None of them replace Micah.
Cowboys fans are the worst. This is why people make fun of us.
Everything is orchestrated by the agent. This all didn't happen without Dave's planning.Once a player says he's done with a team, that means something to me. I'm not mad at him or anything and I'll take into account he's still a young man and that he could just be playing a card but still...
Almost certainly in my mind, too. Doesn't mean there won't be consequences. Agent is only human too.Everything is orchestrated by the agent. This all didn't happen without Dave's planning.
ExactlyYep when you show them the money, you show them the love and all else is forgiven. Withholding services and requesting a trade is really Parsons' only leverage.
Terrible contract if we do that. Team building will be hurt if we do that.$45M/year will fix it.
It'd be one thing if it were unprecedented but Garrett just recently did it in the pass rushers realm along with a bunch of others. It's routine.Almost certainly in my mind, too. Doesn't mean there won't be consequences. Agent is only human too.
I hope its not fixableDon’t mean to throw another Micah post out there but does anyone think this can be fixed? Too much damage? Egos bruised?

I couldn't agree more.Terrible contract if we do that. Team building will be hurt if we do that.
