I've seen other videos over the years.

One was actually recreated to show the shark way below the surface.
Then the shark sees the seal, which looks like an hors d'oeuvre.
Goes form swimming parallel to the ocean level to making a b-line straight up and spears the sellout of water and thrashes down.






Another video shows the shark actually miss the seal and he gets away somehow.

Not this video. But he does miss.

Oh, the breaching has nothing to do with a hoax or not, was talking about the size. I do know Whites leave the water

They are amazing killing machines.

This shark appears to be pushing 28 foot plus, why I was asking if trick photography of some sort.

Well, 28 feet would be something but nowhere near wide ranging estimates for megalodon 50-100ft

No where near it but would be a record for today. It would also mean that much closer to a 35 footer

Saw that on shark week. I was assisting in a check-out deep dive for students at a place in the gulf called the Flower Gardens in 2006. On our last dive, we were graced by an 11-foot White. He kind of just swam right above us and kept on going.

Needless to say, we had a minimal decompression stop

Looked real and yeah it looked monstrous. Definitely don't want to see something that size in the water with me. There's bigguns out there, don't want to be the guy that finds them the hard way.

Bit a fake sea lion/seal to get it to breach, that is what their jaws do when attacking.....normal.
