Is this real, hoax or photo-imposed somehow?

I think this incident just happened in South Africa, wasn't part of Shark Week........as far as I know.

Yes, wasn't part of shark week but was just on last weekend, shweekend or something like that they called it. Here's the show I was referring to with the clip you are asking about. It's called "Great White chases the hornet". I assumed it was legit but haven't checked into it to know for certain.

EDIT: Youtube version which plays better, for me at least.

That would be it. That shark is more like 16ft, looks bigger in the short clip :(

Yes, still a huge shark, regardless. There is a clip at the discovery site titled, "Largest Great White ever filmed". Don't know if it's the same one from the other clips, don't think so.

Another version. They say 20ft. Mexican waters so not the same one from the SA breach video.

Guadalupe Island off of Baja. Some of the worlds largest gather there and that gal is named "Deep Blue" :omg:

Based on a much smaller shark called "prop" .... Scar caused by hitting boat propeller. Boat sinking was real. Two deaths I believe... No sharks involved.

The show was pretty convincing, too bad it was a mockumentary. Overall, it was still very entertaining and would make for a great movie.

Indeed.

The shark lying in wait.... The oil rig video... Far fetched but the thought of that kind of premeditated, predatory planning was thrilling.

Did you finally get to watch it?

Yeah... Played out like a movie.

One major ***** up was... The shark all left when submarine came... Then it was revealed he was there all along.

The learning to breathe while not moving like a nurse shark. That was cool. True or not lol
