Is this team ready to commit to the run?

Well, since Jeanty will be gone, looks like we'll go TE in the 1st.
TE in the first is so not going to happen unless they lost their damn minds. IF Jeanty is gone, then it is WR all the way (hopefully with a trade down a few spots) or a DL/CB who falls to them and they like.

We signed Williams, and Sanders, we will surely be adding another back in the draft. We've hired coaches that want physicality brought back to this offense. One way to be physical is to run the ball down teams throats. With that said there's one issue. We're paying our QB $60 million to do pass the ball. Are we ready to watch him hand the ball off a lot?

The obvious answer is to be a balanced team. I think whatever happens, we should be a run first team, I feel like some will agree with this. We fix the trenches, find that right guard, get Steele playing great, Guyton comes back better, and we should be set!

I'm excited to see the run more, and us using the run to set up the pass! Dak is looking slim, hopefully this benefits him greatly! Please give your thoughts
Dallas Cowboys culture does not do commitments. Only broken promises, broken dreams, and broken families.

Jerry just forked out $90m+ on the passing game (as well as a 4thRd for Mingo)......Jerry wants value for money. We'll pass on every down.

The team has hired a college oline coach with some past college success. So thats a start. Hopefully this hire won't end the same as the last head coach's tenure whose past NFL success did not amount to anything with Dallas.
That's about it as far as the commitment goes thus far.

I guess we'll see how the team handles the stacked boxes after this early season run commitment is figured out..

DL? Whatever!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're assigning brains where there are none!!!! Look for an injured LB or a TE and that'll be our pick!!!!!!!

I believe that until the Dallas Cowboys truly commit to a running game, they shall remain middle of the pack at best. I don't actually hold out any genuine hope of them doing it however.
And until they commit to stopping the run, they shall remain a crappy team in the playoffs.

I mean have you seen Jerry lately? He could moonlight as a extra in a George Romero Zombie flick. So brains is something he could feed on. All Cowboys signings require a small sacrifice and a nibble...

When Dak has a rushing game of over 100 yards, Cowboys have a remarkable record of 31 wins and 2 losses.

He's now being paid too much to keep that hand in the gut of another man, he needs to be throwing it to pay Jerry back his money

Coog, not sure if you're married, but the old marriage saying was "Would you rather be right, or happy?"

The Run game will only help Dak . Him making 60 million is irrelevant to the conversation . The object is to win and to not bump into a washed Zeke and a cloud of dust helps .

Now draft a quality back that can take 12–15 positive touches per game with Sanders better suited as a change of pace at this point . Sanders is Gainwell which is needed .

Williams & Vaughn battle for RB3 .
