Not where it counts.
What about Gallup? I really like him and I'd really think twice before letting him go.I sure thought the team was talented coming into the year. I literally have no confidence in any one player on this team. You can't get rid of the entire team but there is no one player I would want the team to definitely keep if a decent trade came along. If they decide to move on from Cooper and/or Dak, I'm fine with that. Trade Zeke or DLaw...go for it.

Get ready cause we are about to go through 4 coaches in 8 years. If we are like the giants, it will be 4 coaches in 6 years and they still have not found one yet.The problem is not what we think but the architects of the team, they think this team has the talent to go to the Big Dance. The GM has openly questioned the coaching but never the talent.
Many assumed every player on the D would get better and not one has.
The real illusion that some have is that this team has been a drafting dynamo. First round OL, the surest pick in that round, are easy pickings compared to the later rounds where teams are truly made. Look deeper in the draft and while they did pick some DB's, are any really any better than a jag? You can make a case for Quinn and Bennett being the best additions on the D and they had to give up picks to get them.
The toughest thing to isolate is why is this D so inconsistent? Is it coaching or the talent? Until we get a different DC in there, we really won't know but if the Joneses go with a college coach, this will not improve over the long haul. Most teams respond to change in a positive fashion but then it settles in.
However, in the defense of the present coaching, that game was all about the lack of execution last night so the talent did not deliver.
And lack of tackles before 10 yards. Don't forget that one. There is some talent. All NFL teams have talent.
But I don’t expect anyone from our defense to make Pro Bowl this year.
And something they also talked about that doesn’t measure up to other top 10 defenses is lack of turnovers . And I’d add lack of sacks.
All great defenses begin up front. We haven’t caused the pressure and created havoc like we did last year.
Before the game, all Fox could do was talk the Cowboys up. You even heard Troy and Buck talk about the defense being "top 10." This defense has not stopped the run all year, mobile QB's have had their way all year and they cannot tackle. Our offense can be amazing at times but are far too inconsistent. We have some talent on offense but I really don't think there is any real talent on defense. In fact, I'd argue that Jeff Heath plays harder than any other defender out there. Are the Cowboys talented? Not near as talented as they think they are.
Garrett looks so miserable at this point. He should swallow his pride and just resign. Bow out gracefully.yes, but they are not focused, neither are the coaches. I question how much film they are watching and even if they are watching are they focused. we seem to play like our brain is in a fog, step too slow in recognizing, not caring, its very obvious we are not on the same page and there are a few who are just free lancing at this point. this is a mess. everyone is either quit or in process of quitting including the head coach. didn't see one clap from him last night, just counting down the minutes and games...
