Is this the best offseason in recent memory?

This is the largest improvement this team has seen in one offseason in a decade, and to add to that the Eagles and Commanders are falling apart before our very eyes. Is this the best offseason in a LONG time for Dallas.

This might have been the best offseason in their history. Only time will tell though.

Ask me again in December. Early reports are a resounding, "Yes."

Earth to HH. Earth to HH.

We've yet to play a single game yet.

Let's not pronounce this a success quite yet. We have a LONG way to go to call this a successful (if not the MOST successful) off season (in awhile).

Let's enjoy the game and stop patting ourselves on the back. We've done a good job on paper, but who's to say??? 2002 was supposed to be an A++++ draft also ... and look what it netted us???

Let's not count our chickens before the eggs hatch.

I enjoy optimism also, but let's not get carried away ... this isn't the ExtremeSkins forum.

on paper its the best since 1992 when we picked up Kevin Smith, Darren Woodson and Robert Jones via the draft along with Thomas Everett and Chalres Haley via trade

but on paper doesnt mean squat once the games start...its promising though because we would seem to be better at QB and OL on offense and virtually everywhere on defense...the team also is deeper...gonna be some decent players cut loose at the end of camp, havent seen much of that the past few years

I don't even remember a time in my life where the Cowboys have had an offseason that was really worth mentioning. So i guess thats a "yeah"

I would just really feel better about this whole thing if we had a playmaker at WR

I think Keyshawn is a playmaker. He's not fast, but he can go up and make a play. The TD catch against Seattle comes to mind. Also Terry Glenn can still fly, and has great hands. I think combined they make a playmaker...if that makes any sense

I totally agree. We have playmakers at WR.

They aren't young........I agree that a young playmaker at WR would be nice.

And to answer the question this topic raised:

Yes, this is a very good offseason. But I'm going to try to be realistic. I was so disappointed after last season. I'm going to try to keep a level head about everything.

I don't think we have the same definition of playmaker

This certainly feels a lot better then it has in a long time it seems. I think its a good time to be a boys fan. We could be on the cusp of something special.

Terry Glenn has made plays since he arrived here. It's his durabilty that's in question.

Seems like each of the past 2-3 years we've been saying the same thing, "this is the best offseason...etc.".

As others have stated, time will tell.

Having said that, one has to be happy with the early indications.
