Put yourself in Jerry's shoes. What would you do? Parcells has upgraded the talent and you have opened your checkbook to get some FA help. But it clearly isn't working. What do you do? I honestly don't know how he would answer the question.

From a talent stand point you are better. But does that mean anything if you don't win?

The problem is that we gambled with Bledsoe. He was brilliant for us last year, until he lost his OL. Sadly, he didn't start off strong like he did last year this year. He just looks shell shocked.

If Romo shows us promise, they may take another whack at it together (BP and JJ).

If this has already been covered, I'll gladly delete this thread.

But barring a late-season turnaround where Romo emerges as a star, is this the end for Parcells here? Is he a man who has run out of options here?
In my opinion yes. There's no doubt the team has better personal than what he inherited and is better than the Campo era, but it is a team that is under-achieving for whatever reason. There's no reason to pay a Head Coach 6 million dollars a year for that kind of production.

Maybe, like Gibbs, his methods simply don't reach today's players. I really don't know. He just doesn't seem hungry enough to me.

BP was apologetic to fans, etc. for last night's butt whipping, almost out of character for him. This was a crucial home game against a division heavyweight, and they didnt get it done, and worse, didnt look prepared. I guess we're left to think at this juncture that this really is a .500 team, and they are what they are (where have we heard that before?). If they finish 8-8, Id say Bill packs it in come January.
