Is this what the west coast offense is supposed to look like?

I must have slept since the last real deal west coast offense took the field. I have a very hard time thinking what Dak and MM are doing is how it's supposed to be. FG after FG after FG after FG isn't going to get it done. It just won't. Dak had a few good plays and that 1 good run, but overall he sucked. It was an awful display.
When your QB is junk, yes

I mentioned it last week.

The offensive play calling is odd.

And it’s very Basic.

I think the cards were playing cover 2 most of the game.

I got so damn sick of all the screens. Some went for some positive yardage, but a majority of them went for losses. Dak seemed way to eager to just do a quick dump off screen without looking to see if it was going be a negative play or if he had opening to run.

Have we seen enough evidence yet to say that KM was the problem with the offense?
How many accidental laterals did we throw this game?

I hated that today's swing/screen passes seemed to start for the most part 3-4 yds. behind the line of scrimmage.

West Coast O was ball out in 2 seconds or roll to one side to open up the field - then throw a slant to John Taylor or Jerry Rice and watch them run.

We don’t have a Taylor or Rice .. or a quick, decisive and accurate QB. Also troubling is the obvious fact thar we cannot or will not stretch the field over the top. Makes playing D a ton easier. Everything in front of you and tackle well.

West Coast? West Coast? No this the Burnt Toast offense commandeered by the master of irreconcilable reads and picks. Just a farce! Mike is doing everything he can to conceal Prescotts Achilles heel and that is throwing the ball down field. It is not working. This game plan will get us a lot of losses.

The play says THROW IT TO SAID PLAYER regardless if there's 3 guys nearby coming to make the tackle he still throws it!!!

Nooo....it's the defense that is bad.
So its okay for the offense at the same time going 1/5 in the red zone is unacceptable.. Yes Defense was bad & didnt show up but having decent movement up n down the field till we got into the redzone isnt the defense fault !! It was a Whole Team **** bag to blame & ima a passionate Die hard fan we wasn’t prepared point blank

Big Mike isn’t going to be calling plays for long…

That’s some basic stuff he was doing.

Cards DC had it figured out.

When I think of west coast the first thing that comes to mind is Steve Young, Jerry Rice, etc.... they had some damn good offenses. Was very happy to see Dallas beat their arses back then
That was fun. But the Cowboys had HOF players at WR, QB, and not only RB, but an all time great at RB, and one of the best blocking FBs of all time. All that running behind bulldozers on the offensive line. And the Cowboys needed every bit of that, and a very good D to beat the 49ers. The current Cowboys have no hall of fame players on offense at the skilled positions. I think the eventual HOF players on the O-Line weren't playing yesterday.

This team is never going to play like the 90s 49ers. We don't have that kind of talent. All we can hope for is that they improve on scoring in the redzone.

Cards just played cover shells all day.

Teams gonna copy what they did.

We run a high school offense.

Dak doesn't care about winning, Dak has always only cared about surviving, and his bank account of course.
