Is Tolbert wasted snaps?

need to sign a veteran receiver right now. i agree tolbert is a total waste.

Tolbert is awful. Two game changing plays he should’ve made - drop on 3rd and not making one guy miss on 3rd, both would’ve kept drives going- are what I come to expect. He’s total ***.
Like CD last week vs Philthy.

Been saying all offseason that Tolbert is an end of roster type player. His numbers last season were largely due to an abnormally high volume of snaps.

If Turpin can’t go next week it will be interesting to watch if Flournoy gets a decent share of the WR3 snaps.

Seems like their answer was to give Tolber more reps.

Yes. We should have tried to trade him for anything. Heck I’ll take a 6th rounder. We gave up a 4th for Mingo and Tolbert NFL career has been better than Mingos so far.
Mango got open last year. The QB didn't get it to him. If he had better QB play, he would've matched tolberts production in less snaps.
Before miles Austin broke out, he got open multiple times in back to back games and the QB didn't get it to him. Then against k c he exploded.. Stats matter but look at how often guys care open. Its like dez,s last two years. Dak missed him a lot . then the media said he got shut down . watch the film and he's open 50 yards up field multiple times.

I look for Flournoy n Mingo to be the WRs behind CeeDee n Pickens with Turp sprinkled in. Tolbert is not helping this team.

Is this a serious question? Can’t tell if OP is doing bits or not.

Lets talk about it. I think flournoy, and lingo are more talented and bring more upside. Both are bigger and faster.
he almost cost the game with that ball hitting him in the hands and him not catching it. its a lack of concentration and focus. these are the times you have to make plays and he literally let it slip out of his hands. he got lucky we ended up winning, but that had me screaming at the screen.

Cowboys FO always seems to try and use early mid round picks on WRs that are jack of all trades and most end up being unplayable. Gallup was alright but he wasn't a major hit. Probably should start thinking about looking for different archetypes if they aren't 1st rounders.
