Is Tony Romo the best coach on the team?

Love Romo, but he's no turkey neck Manning, he needs someone to call him out and help him focus. I thought with more of his "input" this year you would see a more dynamic, exciting, well balanced offense. It's just been more of the same. Waters going down hurt, but I expected more from a lot of players. Williams has been the only surprising bright spot. Those running backs have been such a disappointment.

I dont think so. This system limits him.

much like the rest of the team, the "game plan" (or lack thereof) limits Tony...I feel he is the best coach out there, yes...but, I wish he would just say screw it and run whatever he wants...win or die on Tony's decisions....I can live with that at this stage of the season

I think the best way to get Garrett to change his offensive scheme........is to put him under center this sunday against the Giants DLine-----let him get pounded a few times and run for his life...........then he'd see the "light" and reasons needed for change.

We wouldnt run very much there may be a few more Int's but we would score more points.
So yes, he is better than some of our coaches.

And, that's the problem.. The SAME players in the SAME scheme still are confused. Get rid of the scheme. Bring a damn bruising fullback (if there are any left), establish a running game. And give Romo some help for once..

Orrrr... Get new players if these players are too stupid to get this scheme. You know, this "vanilla" , no "imagination" scheme.:p

Our system nevr employs bootleg.. That's all you need to know about the clowns in charge of this offensive show. Romo, for the last couple of years, was gettig destroyed, but our resident geniuses never thought once to move the pocket. And Romo's feet has been his asset. Timing-based system versus maximizing Romo's skills... yeah Jerry, keep having your homies destroy the man you know can carry this franchise...

He would be so much better with a real QB coach.

This.
I remember Tony saying in pre-season "he" had found something in his throwing motion that was going to make a big difference this season, while I don't see a difference, I can't help but wonder what a different QB coach could do with him.

I'd love to see Tony run his offense. The guy is bright and has been under the gun. I would bet he would be an excellent coach somewhere besides here.

Tony has already said in the past that Sean Payton runs an offense he prefers.
Payton has always been a Romo fan, so too bad the timing failed us in keeping him here.
Worked out quit well for Payton though.
