Did anyone else notice that on the interception that Romo threw trying to connect with Miles Austin...Smith had to have missed the audible. He is blocking DOWN the line of scrimmage and let Clay Matthews make a bee line to the QB. We can debate whether or not Romo should have audibled...but if Smith handles Matthes like he had the ENTIRE game....Romo can set his feet throw and Miles probably scores. Of course as a leader Romo has to go to the podium and take the blame. But I was curious if anyone else noticed that once again in a critical situation, Smith made his own contribution to the mistake.

For the love god, people need stop finding every damn excuse but Romo on ints. That was on Romo, was a run play and Romo audibles out of it.

Not Tyron's fault. The play was a designed run to the right. Escobar was supposed to cut Matthews.

Confirmed ESPN radio. Was a play relayed in wwith "flash" option. G.bay had 10 in box. Online run blcked Escobar had the impossible task to get to Matthews from the other side. Poor scheme set up. Will scheilds make up speed was prEtty good

He honestly cost us 2 previous games . The holding call vs Detroit and the getting whipped vs Denver caused him to bump romo on the INT . Dude is overrated .

All I wanted was some intel on why Matthes came unblocked. Not trying to excuse Romo for anything.

Not trying to throw Tyron under the bus...just wanted to see if he was supposed to block Matthews. I think he is VERY good. And is getting better. But when INTs happen...especially ones where the ball was not being forced into triple coverage....there are reasons for what went wrong...and I was simply trying to fgiure out what went wrong....because that play was 4 incehs from icing the game. The Packer defender made a finger tip INT.

Thats probably a miscommunication more than a blown assignment, if I had to guess.

Good guess. If you watch the replay, Murray is just standing there like he is wondering why he didn't get the ball. I don't think everyone picked up on the audible.
