I'll just add that the one redeeming factor in this entire situation is that J Garrett's ticket to becoming a HC, either with the Cowboys or elsewhere, is truly dependent on his success this season.

The one thing that I am confident of is that Garrett will do whatever he can to either win the HC position in 2010 with the Cowboys or with another team.

I think he obviously realizes his ticket out of the co-ordinators position is by generating top offensive production.

Assuming someone else takes the HC position in 2010, this is Garrett's year to prove he should get a HC gig - either here or elsewhere.

I'm concerned that it will have an affect on the team's play. (Yes, yet another excuse.)

But in seriousness, if the team, fans, etc. all believe this is Wade's last year of being the HC, I do wonder how hard they play.

Yep, him being a lameduck HC is one of MANY problems this team has.
