This topic made my head hurt. If you had the vote, would you vote kurt warner in the hof?

No I don't think so, He did have a couple of great years but a couple of years in my opinion should not get you in the Hall Of Fame

I don't think so. He had a couple of great years and then really nothing after that. Injuries killed him. To me, an extended period of greatness is necessary for HOF consideration..

No....a two or three year run doesn't not make you a HOF'er unless you played for the 70's Steelers.

Yah, but those few years were unbelievable...I guess not, but if the class is weak...maybe...

No.

His career is incomplete at this point. When he was on, he was one of the best, but three great years is not a career.

Heck, over the last two seasons, he has been outplayed by a drugged up Quincy Carter. :D (I am a big QC fan, so no one better get offended.)

I went back once and compared his 3 great years to other HOF QBs best 3 yrs, and few if any others stacked up to Warner's 99-01 seasons.

But, IMO, 3 yrs just isn't enough. I think there's too many players getting in now. I think only the elite (the Reggie Whites, Emmitt Smiths, and Dan Marionos) should be in.

For example, I love Darren Woodson, but again, IMO, he was never an elite player that should be in the HOF. He was a very good player and an integral part of the team of the 90s, but I think only a couple of players each year should get in.

He falls in with Davis of Denver, great for a short time. It worked for Sayers when the number of players were less, but I think that there is too much competition to get in today.

Is there a Hall of Flashes in the Pan?

Seriously, however, if he can somehow ressurect his career in NY, and put up another 4-5 years of solid numbers he might have a claim. I don't think that'll happen, however.

Hahahahahahaha...no! But I bet his wife will demand it and make a fuss over it.

No way....he's not even close....he won't even make the ballot, imo.

Now, let him make a come back, play 4-5 more years, turn the Giants around, keep Eli on the bench and win another SB or two? Then he's a candidate for sure....right now he was just the trigger man on the "greatest show on turf" with the RAMS.

Name me a QB who couldn't be successful with the WR's and RB on the RAMS.
