It's been growing in part because of how the two teams have publicly handled the "pressure" of this game.
Maybe I'm looking at things through a homer's eyes, but the Eagles seem to be resorting to childish tactics to a) mess with our heads; and b) defer the criticism being thrown their way. McNabb floored me when the main reason he listed for Philly having a chance in this game is Dallas being overconfident. If that's what he's banking on, they're in trouble.
Conversely, I really like the way our players have handled their taunts. You can tell our players are hearing them and feel disrespected, which I like. I never like it when a team's taunts go unnoticed in the other locker room. But there's a business-like approach to our disdain. Instead of flinging poop back at the Eagles, it's as if our guys are giving the media a chuckle under their breath and saying, "We'll see Saturday."
Very Patriots-like in their heyday, IMO.
