Is Zack skipping OTA’s?

Stephen Jones, as usual thinks he is the smartest salary cap manager in the NFL.
Completely asinine to have this situation drag out.

The stubbornness & bullheadedness of Stephen Jones is becoming an undesirable trait for the Cowboys.
Ok.

Although us fans have absolutely NO CLUE what’s going on behind closed doors at The Star.

Well we are in good salary cap shape now what we werent for the last 10+ years. Dont misunderstand me i dont credit SJ for that. But to criticize the way we manage our resources is just stupid.

Perhaps the fact negotiations are moving slowly bear this out. Would you consider him a better negotiator if he just inked whatever zack's agent put in front of him. I think not.

no media coverage at practIce today but the mothership has a bunch of photos up. No pics of Zack and it looked like Chaz lined up at RG with the first team OL. Probably nothing but was certainly surprised not to see him

Zach is in a tough spot b/c he is already playing the season at a discount and he has 50-70 million in future earnings riding on his health. I wouldn't risk a Hunter Henry situation for a meaningless OTA.

Lol.

Smh.

I hope for myself i will never be in that kind of tough spot where i earn around 10 mils/year. For that kind of money my life the life of my children and their children is secure .

Do you people even get what we are talking about ? Seriously guys.

Zack is just being smart. Clearly there is a subtle message being sent, but potential injury is the primary concern.

Smart college graduates wise enough to follow the professional advice of their agents.. amazes me how cavalier some are regarding other people's money.

Smart & college is mutual exclusive.

I think are FO are a bunch of jackholes for the most part but I would be shocked if this doesn’t get done...and EXTREMELY pissed off. No O line = no Zeke rushing record and more pressure on Dak (which we know how that worked out last year).

He’s top notch and although his absence would be felt I’m not saying the entire line would fall apart if he left but it sure as hell wouldn’t be as good and it would be another chink in the armor so to speak.

Aren't these voluntary? Of all the people on the team that don't need reps I'd put him at the top...

We all know we’re going to sign him. We all know Cowboys will act tough, then bend over and make him the highest paid o-lineman in the NFL, by far.

Which will most likely be a mistake because an enormous amount of money and resources will be invested in 10% of the roster.

Zack is an amazing lineman, but the most obvious choice on the surface does not always align with the best choice.

Cowboys are absolutely horrible at knowing when to walk away, when to sign, and when to trade a player while they still have value.

They are great at drafting, but we know Jerry will NEVER let a homegrown pro-bowl talent leave in free agency, and by the time he’s ready to let go and concede defeat, it’s already 2-3 seasons too late.
