C,mon....I want all Cowboys to succeed but look at the level of competition he was playing against in Mexico. Pretty easy to stand out when you are playing your games against a bunch of guys from the local Mariachi band ! :D

Don't get all the anti-Connor Williams remarks. He was quietly one of the most improved players on the team last year before he missed the last five games with a knee injury.

Some fans think he's undersized but he's around 315-320 pounds after playing in the 290's as a rookie in 2018. Williams isn't in the same class as Zack Martin, but that doesn't mean Williams is a bad player. He's well above average and has the potential to be even better.

Williams came in as a light young player on the outside moving to the inside at a position he never played before, and where power is at a premium. Now 315-320 at 23. Now he has NFL guard size, but hopefully still the movement skills and pass blocking skills of an OT.

I'd say below average last year, but ok. Should be better this year. An average starter in his 3rd year with pick 90 aint bad, especially given his age and position switch.

Expecting Mexicans to play good football is like expecting Americans to play world-class soccer and show good table manners in Europe.
Can't be done mateys!

Not gonna lie y’all, was pulling for this guy. Simply because we share the same last name. I’ve personally only met one other person outside my family with the name “Alarcon”. I’m a South Texas boy. Hopefully this guy gets on the practice squad.

...or a Latino rooting for a fellow Latino. We don't get enough exposure in the NFL. I just want to see more of us there. ;) @Ranching am I right?
I get that totally
I like the potential he has and was very happy to see we got him back on PS
I think he has a good shot of being a player in this league

Ah, but there are exceptions to the perceptions.
