Thank goodness. I swear this is a perfect trap game even if they are banged up. We need to come out hit em hard so we don't sleepwalk through the game.

WEEK 1
Brandon Jacobs: "I think we're going to go to Dallas this Sunday and whup their (butts)."
Result: We win by 10, and Jacobs finishes with 26 yards rushing and gets knocked out for 3-5 weeks with a knee injury.

WEEK 2
Joey Porter: "Barber thinks he's a tough guy sometimes. ... That's my type of fight, so I'm going to be looking for him."
Result: We win by 17, Barber rushes for two touchdowns, and Porter finishes with two tackles and a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty (for ripping off Barber's helmet), then complains that his knee hurts.

WEEK 3
Alex Brown: "I'm not trying to take anything away from him, but if you say (the Colts') Peyton Manning's a star and you say Romo's a star, I don't agree with you on that. ... Anybody can be rattled."
Result: We win by 17, Romo throws for 320 yards and two touchdowns before the end of the third quarter, and Brown finishes with one tackle (after a 15-yard gain).

Don't forget about Hester's comment...

"It's frustrating when guys kick it out of bounds and don't give me a chance," Hester said. "This is the NFL. It's the highest level of football. Kick it to me and play football. Don't be scared. When we face a great returner, we take it as an opportunity to see how good we are."

And all we do in response is win by SEVEN MORE POINTS than the previous game :D

Exactly...It only helps Dallas, really...This game does have 'letdown' written all over it and things like this will only help Dallas, IMHO.

We've faced exactly one top-tier WR this season, and he beat the hell out of us.

And Plaxico Burress is no Torry Holt.

"I, I.Bruce ,guarantee a victory on Dallas..."

He's just trying to pump up his team. They suck badly and will lose badly on Sunday. Got to feel a little sorry for Bruce as he has been one of the best WRs for a long time and this year must be killing him. Of course, I won't feel a bit sorry for him on Sunday when he gets JACKED UP for his comments.

Well they do throw the ball 80 times a game and Bulger isn't exactly Rex Grossman and our pass D isnt exactly Denver's.

Thats true...St. Louis represents the best offensive team we've played so far this year after the G-strings.

THEY WERE the best offense. Without Pace and 2 other starters on the O line; without Jackson,; they are not.

Rams' Bruce guarantees win

OK, any chance of the Cowboys sleepwalking this week went out the window when Rams WR Isaac Bruce made a bold prediction on his St. Louis radio show last night.

"I guarantee a win this week," Bruce said.

Bruce isn't known as a big mouth, so that quote is stunning. Not real smart, either, considering the Rams are 0-3 and ravaged by injuries.

Don't believe the quote has made it to any Valley Ranch bulletin boards yet. I guarantee that will change by the end of the day.

IMO the next two weeks are trap games.

Didn't Roy Williams of the lions guarantee a win for his team last season one game? I think he ended up having one of the worst games of the season that sunday.

I love I. Bruce but he is not even going to see the ball what with that crappy beat up offensive line, a qb with no mobility and two cracked ribs, and a defense that is softer than butter.

Yet he didn't have the balls to guarantee a win at Tampa.

Actually, he can't lose. If they win, he's a hero. If they lose, no one outside of Dallas will remember the guarantee.

lol true

Yeah, other teams should just keep the trash talk going. It keeps the Boys focused!
