Isaac Bruce "guarantees victory in Dallas"

IMO the next two weeks are trap games.

Every game is a trap game in the NFL. Look at the Bengals and Browns, the Chargers and Packers. So if you're prone to anxiety, you choose the wrong sport.

WEEK 1
Brandon Jacobs: "I think we're going to go to Dallas this Sunday and whup their (butts)."
Result: We win by 10, and Jacobs finishes with 26 yards rushing and gets knocked out for 3-5 weeks with a knee injury.

WEEK 2
Joey Porter: "Barber thinks he's a tough guy sometimes. ... That's my type of fight, so I'm going to be looking for him."
Result: We win by 17, Barber rushes for two touchdowns, and Porter finishes with two tackles and a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty (for ripping off Barber's helmet), then complains that his knee hurts.

WEEK 3
Alex Brown: "I'm not trying to take anything away from him, but if you say (the Colts') Peyton Manning's a star and you say Romo's a star, I don't agree with you on that. ... Anybody can be rattled."
Result: We win by 17, Romo throws for 320 yards and two touchdowns before the end of the third quarter, and Brown finishes with one tackle (after a 15-yard gain).

:lmao2: :laugh2: :lmao:

Keep those predictions coming. :D

We've faced exactly one top-tier WR this season, and he beat the hell out of us.

And Plaxico Burress is no Torry Holt.

I watched the rams niners game last week and I watched part of the bucs game last night and the ball is coming out quick.

They are looking to throw lots of short quick stuff. I think they will max protect and look for holt, who is a little beat up deep. If we dont turn the ball over though and get an early lead and they are forced to throw the ball with a deep drop they are in trouble.

I dont overestimate any team. Never have never will but if we can get an early lead of about 10 it is over because they can not pass or run block due to injuries...

I remember the 0-4 raiders beating us two years ago and the lowly rams without jackson and bulger, so anything is possible.

You don't need to go short if you max protect, you usually do that so you can give your receivers time to get opened down field.

But this stuff that Bruce is saying as some has said, something he doesn't have to fear, since they are on their way to a horrible season anyways, he has nothing to lose.

What we have to do is forget that they suck and go in there and punch punch punch. Do the little things like "catch easy balls", "Block hard on every play","don't get conservative all of a sudden", don't underestimate their receivers, don't let them make a big play.

You gotta do something to try and fire the troops up. He'll do everything he can to back that up.

Yeah he will. They'll still fall short though. Valiant effort by Bruce though to get his team riled up. (or idiotic depending on how you look at it) :lmao2:

well well .......lanestrodamous predicts an easy win:

45- 21

Chris Chambers is pretty darn good receiver and so is Berrian in Chicago. Dont be selling our secondary short that all we have played is Plexico and a bunch of scrubs.

I cant wait for Bruce to come across the middle Sunday, that is if he actually has the balls to after that comment.:laugh1:

I agree about the ball coming out quick. Like part of the Skids game I watched; lots of 3 step drops and fire the ball. No time to sack the QB. Hopefully he'll be forced into some longer drops like someone above stated.

I don't understand your last sentence. Bulger is playing.

my point was that we lost to an equally bad and banged up rams team in 05 and this time bulger is playing he didnt nor did jackson in 05.

yeah, the max protect stuff was to get the ball down the field, max protect two guys in routes and then a back in the flat.

When was the last time Dallas pitched a shutout? Answer: Sunday September. 30th, 2007.

Cowboys 38 Rams 0

Gotcha. Thanks theebs.

for some reason i keep seeing the Niners game running through my mind....the one where Elvis came into our house and shallacked us. it gives me nightmares still........

of course the niners also had a loaded team, even if steve young was hurt.

the rams are missing their entire OL, QB, RB, etc.....honestly, Dallas should win this game by at least 3 TDs.....but, like I said, that Niners game is bugging me. I havent thought about that game in forever. Then when I saw the Rams MASH unit, the memory popped in.

Thanks a lot for bringing back that memory. We were on vacation in Hawaii (before we moved here) and were sightseeing with friends. When we got back to their house and I heard the result of that game I was flabbergasted. I had almost successfully erased it from my memory but no........I hate you.:lmao2:

I remember Barry Switzer apologized in his press conference that night for not preparing his team for that game-he then said, "I'll prepare them for those Oakland Raiders!". We smacked the Raiders subsequently.

He's just trying to pump up his team. They suck badly and will lose badly on Sunday. Got to feel a little sorry for Bruce as he has been one of the best WRs for a long time and this year must be killing him. Of course, I won't feel a bit sorry for him on Sunday when he gets JACKED UP for his comments.
:lmao2:
Exactly. Bruce is a class act and is throwing down the gauntlet to his teammates. Dallas' CBs would be wise not to underestimate him.
