Isiah Bond, outstanding warrant

I will wait for more details to emerge but the timing of the complaint makes me suspicious of the "victim's" motives.

Sad situation if true or not. If it's true he should go to jail not play in the NFL.
If it's false, than she should go to jail for making false claims that hurt his image and cost him big $.
Either way his stock is going to take a hit. Maybe we can steal him in the 6th. ;)

Lots of possibilities here.

He really is that stupid

he really was that stupid and this came now because of the publicity he is getting and the victim is looking for a payout

ITs a shake down
Not saying it is true or not. I hope it is not.

But in reference to your last sentence, if they victim is looking for a payout and this is a shake down would it not be more beneficial to do it after he gets drafted rather than before by tanking his draft stock hence lowering how much he gets paid?

Again, not siding with anyone, and I agree the timing is somewhere from weird to suspicious. If anything it is someone just trying to hurt him (jilted lover perhaps).

The problem is it probably won't go away before the draft. He'll go from a 3rd round prospect to an UDFA. That's a good amount of money he'll lose.
Hence why I do not see how this helps the victim if it is in fact a shake down situation. His potential first contract earnings drop from $5.5 - $6 million down to $2.4 million (ish).

Mayber jilted ex-lover looking to cost him some early money.

It shows how stupid the victim is.
Out to just ruin him or a money grab if proven to be false.

If a money grab, she waits, for him him to be drafted higher. Gets a bigger contract. Doing this now, his status drops, or if he does go as an UDFA. Much less money.

Knowing Jerry he will package some 5th and 6ths, and a 2026 pick. Move ups to the 4th. Take him there then tell us how he got value.

Regardless, even if proven innocent, Goodell will suspend him for 6 games after a year long drawn out railroaded investigation.
If he goes anywhere else, that team will be given props. Maybe even ref bias to get them to a SB.

Yeesh, bad timing.

That said, if this isn't true and it all goes away, he can be a big-time player in the league. Have the same question for him that I have for Golden: if so talented, why so little production?

On the field, he moves better than just about every WR in the draft.
He had some injuries if I recall. Also, transferred to Texas from Bama

I suspect there would have been some prior threats if this is a shake down.

Jerry is always looking for a steal. Assuming the allegations are eventually proven to be untrue, I wouldn’t mind him here. It worked out with Collins.

Wouldn’t Spaulding be able to dig up some dirt on it? I’m sure he still has some friends at UT. Maybe.

I would say its arguable that it worked out with Collins.

He was projected as a mid first that they got for nothing. He was pretty good for a while, then Jerry couldn’t wait to be the hero and pay him. IMO he mailed it in from there.

this might be a strictly spite move; destroy his chance to make real money right off the bat.

OR someone he did victimize that knows she has no chance in court and this is the only way she can strike back and really hurt him

too little information yet

The details are getting rather ugly.

of course this appears to be her side of the story but none of it looks good for him.

asking for a NDA and offering money is also not looking good

Welp good luck with all of that in court. For now teams are all going to take his name of the boards until there is a trial.
