Isiah Stanback

This guy has value because he can take care of 3 positions on our roster. Emergency QB/WR/PR.

Calm down people. This guy reminds me of a local athlete here in Virginia that was a so so QB in College and turned out to be a good WR. Ronald Curry

To me this type of pick is much better value in the fifth, sixth, and seventh rounds if the player is still there. In the fourth it really seems like a reach.

Hey wasn't that kid in Jacksonville a QB as well and now plays WR.
Not saying this is the case but lets see - So for everyone who wants a WR start your complaining cause here he is, Now lets get back to lineman..

I don't think he was on many people's lists this high. The Cowboys brought him in for a workout a few weeks ago and he must have blown him away to the point where they must have felt they couldn't let him slip through their fingers. I take it he's completely healed from the lis franc and must have demonstrated some serious speed at his workout. He's a great athlete. He ran a timed 10.4 in the 100 meter dash.

I know Ted Ginn Jr ran a 10.5 in high school and Devin Hester was timed in the 100 at 10.42 in college. That has me incredibly excited.

The guy seems to be a superb all around athlete. His speed is outstanding.

I think maybe the 'Boys success at converting Crayton to a receiver, along with knowing this guy has prior experience at playing receiver and his outstanding speed and #1 receiver size, tells me that the Cowboys loved his potential to translate into a good to great receiver.

That and the fact that they are set at WR for at one more year, probably two, they are in a better position to take a guy who's a project but has the ceiling to be a starter a few years down the road rather than a guy who's more polished today but will never be anything more than a backup.

Oh the irony.

How is what I said ironic?
I did not whine after every pick. 70% of the fans here are complaining about the picks, CONSTANTLY. I am telling them to shutup, and it's been about 3 times. Big difference. So, you too, shutup.

We got one of those already, Crayton.

Or should we sit Crayton on game day for this project?

It always easy to say you can get someone later in the draft but the way this draft is going due to lack of depth teams are rally picking 5th round guys in the 4th. It was like that all day yesterday tons of guys taken in the 3rd had 4th round grades. I think if you wait you lose this year.

Jerry getting cute We need a DT(Paul Soliai)

This is when we need BP in these late rounds. We just drafted an injured inexperienced WR that runs a little under 4.6.

There are some good players on the board that would fill some needs who have the potential of starting for us in the future. Jerry wants to demonstrate his football knowledge - and he did.

I wasn't real excited about this selection, but after reading some write ups, he's an amazing athlete and the big question is whether he's recovered from the lisfranc injury.
The Patriots were very interested for what its worth.

Could be IR, my only gripe is that he would have been there in later rounds, especially with his recent injury.

I just don't know alot about the guy. Perhaps this will prove to be a pretty savy pick. Right now however, I'm a little shocked, stunned, confused, dazed, dissapointed and hurt.

Shocked and confused --OK ---disapointed and hurt ---you have to be kidding:lmao2:

Won't matter if he's not completely healed from the injury. He'll be redshirting this year most likely.

i saw him play a little in washington. the guy was like michael vick at qb. just ran around and made plays.

should be an interesting pick if he can make it like patrick crayton.

He was healthy enough for the Cowboys to put through a complete workout last week.

Anybody know when his 40 was timed?
