Isn’t it great

You Pom Pom every move they make.

I would much rather listen to the posters you’re speaking about then listen to someone who turns back flips with every move this team makes.

It’s still early days of this trade too and I like the player but I do not trust in the system and QB to consistently get this guy the ball.
Tell me whats wrong with the trade hater?

You're the exact definition of a Troll. This thread is the exact definition of trolling...

There has been a bunch of threads that the guys who didn't like the trade have since either ate crow or continued to say what they said when it was made.

BTW , I was on board before it was finalized, so don't throw that as an excuse for me calling your trolling butt out. I have saved posts from you where if I threw out the stuff you said you might not come back for a while because of the embarrassing things you've said.

Guys didn't like the trade, who cares? Does everyone have to agree, or do we all have to have "Ambers" opinions? Geesh
No I’m just pointing out how you were wrong that’s all. And you haven’t admitted it but instead moved on to some other topic to hate on. Who the hell you trying to kid? I know.....yourself.

I their defense, quite a few of those that complained have come back and said they were proven wrong. A few of those that liked the trade continue to rub it in the face of those that didn't
Some of them have, but the vast minority.

Management has done a nice job this year from drafting, to signing Richard, to FA and shoring up the O-line, to the Cooper trade.
Yes they have. And don’t forget drafting LVE and Gallup. If the haters would open their eyes they would see that this team has a lot of talent on both sides. The offensive line has been banged up all year. Dak is Dak. He’s not fricken Brady or Rogers or Mahomes. He’s Dak and a fricken warrior. The haters can’t see that and instead just want to HATE. They are very, very sad people.

Really smart fans would dig deeper than 5-2 (and it's actually 6-2) with Cooper.

1-2 vs teams 9-6 or better. The Cowboys scored a total of 27 points in those 3 games - 9 points per game.

5-0 vs teams 8-7 or worse. The Cowboys scored 136 points in those games - 27 points per game.

Hmmm...how many .500 teams do you expect to play in January?
They’re 9-6 *******.

Imagine trading next year’s first (which ended up first overall) for a backup QB? One that cost you the opportunity to get Cortez Kennedy.

Because that also happened.

Oh, that was the Colts, wasn't it? (just googled it because I wasn't sure)

He’s done nothing? Just being out on the field changes how the defense has to play us. We moved the ball but just didn’t score because of penalties, etc. Sometimes I wonder if posters here actually watch the game but instead tune into SAS to get their takes.

Just gonna completely ignore the records vs winning teams and records vs .500 and below teams? Nice.

Isn’t it great that after a 3-5 start Jerry went out and did something about the anemic WR corps? It took big juevos to go out and give up a #1 pick for a player of great need. 90% of this board complained about the pick. Now those same posters are totally silent about it. Not only did Cooper turn around this offense but he has also give the team a big shot of energy and more importantly confidence. Kudos to Jerry, Stephen, Garrett and McClay for having the guts to make the trade.
I think it would have been much better if Herry hadn’t decided to go into the season with the worst WRs in the league. Imagine how much better it would be if the Cowboys would be proactive instead of reactive. They entered the season with trash at the WR position and Jerry should be applauded for it?

No it was Jimmy Johnson and the Cowboys.

It wasn’t really a traded pic though… They use their first round pick in the supplemental draft to take Steve Walsh, quarterback from university of Miami. They had just drafted troy Aikman so he was just a reserve player.

They lost their subsequent first round pick in the following regular draft , Which would have been first overall.

These days the team would be eaten alive for making a decision like that.

I don’t think that’s what he’s saying.

Yup, the trade completely changed the offense. After scoring 20 points per game before the trade, they improved to scoring 19.5 points per game after it.
take out this thing called an "Outlier," which would be the jags game, and then what does the offense go down to? Same with the colts game... always take out the high and the low for a better reflection of reality.

Now, with or without Cooper, our offense, with one of the best RBs in football is still not very potent.

I guess you haven’t been watching the NFL for long. The in NFL is not college. EVERY game is a tough game. It doesn’t matter the record. When it comes to the NFC East it’s even more competitive. Just for your education the 1 game the Cowboys won in 1989 was agains the undefeaated Washington Commanders. Turn your Madden game back on and go away.

I fell into this thread, and had a flashback of 1989 Bourbon ST in the NO...
I picked myself up, and through off the street dust..

First of all, it's not at all true that you should "always take out the high and the low for a better reflection of reality." In fact, it usually isn't.

Secondly, look at the last two games. Dallas managed one TD drive in two games, one of which came at home against the worst defense in the league. I don't see how anyone can argue that the offense has been completely transformed when that's what they've accomplished recently.

Oh dear! That would have sent this board absolutely mental! Blokes here would have called for his sacking straight away!

I am not gonna argue it... as I tried to get away from calling dak the wr killler.... maybe I should change it to the offense killer. I just dont see how our offense can ever get drastically better with Dak behind center.

I am no pro coach, and even I can see he holds ball too long, is hesitant to look down field, has no pocket awareness, and is very inaccurate, despite the ball here or there that he nails.
