Isn't Being Exposed A Good Thing?

No. Getting exposed is never a good thing. You should always be prepared for a team to blitz. You can't spin this into a positive. Just move on and go win next week.

You can't learn from your mistakes? Is that what you're actually trying to say here? Learning from your mistakes is a positive, no spin necessary IMO.

Remember the Skins had nothing to lose, opponents like that will pull things out of the back of the play book that you would not use but in desperate situations. They expected to be blown out and when we didn't they just ramped up their confidence. The Commanders know their season was over and that game was more or less an evaluation game. Trust me those guys were having fun because logic would dictate no team would blitz 9-10 guys almost half the game.

I get what he's saying and I definitely prefer they learn this lesson in week 8 with time to try and correct it rather than in the playoffs where there wouldn't be a next week to fix it.

I don't think Dallas was exposed they just did a poor job on picking up the blitz. If Arz chooses to come in and run blitz after blitz it falls to the OL and Romo who in other games picked up the blitz and Dallas was able to make the plays. Problem on defense stemmed from poor tackling allowing Washington to stay in good down and distant situations.

Exposed? Defense held a NFL team to 17 points with an extra OT added on.......would love the D to ave. that over the season

Haslett........the problem is how many times has he done this to us, he's been the Skins D coor. how many years?

More like our coaching staff exposed themselves---that they didn't have specials ready to go is not excusable.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda. The Texans, Seahawks, and Giants were all saying the same thing about us.

We took a beating and couldn't recover. Such is life. We're not an elite team. We squeaked out two W's .... we should be 4-4 right now.

With this in mind, I'll be happy if we can hit the bye at 8-2.

The only thing that got exposed was how easy our coaching staff can fall back into the trap for 2013.

What the hell were they thinking in pass, pass and pass???

Not sure how we got exposed, more often then not Romo correctly reads and adjusts to blitzes

I know, ... they won me over in the Rams game when we fell behind by 21 but stuck with the run.

And now this.
