Just restating what Ive always said. All coaches are great only if they have a great qb. Without a great qb, coaches are nothing.
Look around the league... wasnt Rivera supposed to be a fantastic coach? I know many people in here wanted him.... well, look at him, he sucks.
Panthers coach just got whacked... he has some of the worst qb play in the league. Bills coach is all of the sudden great..... yep. Its nothing new for me to do this.... lol

Carrol was great with that great D.... hows he been doing? Players win and players lose, no matter who the coach is.

Everyone called Switzer an idiot, yet he won a SB.
 
I get a kick at some of our fan base and media how our offense sucks. When Dak comes back we will easily score 24 to 30 points a game book it!!!

I do not disagree with this. The offense has played extremely conservative.... JUST LIKE IN 2016 WHEN DAK TOOK OVER.

We have a great defense, as some crazy coach once said, you play to win the game. He didnt say anything about playing just to score points.

Fair enough. I get your point and agree. Most coaches are good to great at this level and of course having that QB makes you all that much smarter lol….It’s crazy how much dumber BB is without Brady right?

In Garrett’s case, IMO anyway, it was about a guy who shouldn’t have been a HC but got to hang around for a decade, and Romo was a big part of disguising that.

Honestly, the caliber of some of the players that came through here during his tenure, only to be wasted on a guy that was set in his old time ways while the game was evolving around him is quite shameful. Took Jerry a while to notice the schemes that were being generated by younger minds and that’s why Moore was added.

Garrett was here so Jerry could control everything the way he wanted to. Romo made it possible for as long as it went on for.

Prescott has a history of choking in big games, while Rush has a history-albeit short- of winning.

I don't want to speak for JVB, but it might be alluding to the Cowboys facing an uphill challenge to win a championship with any of their current QBs.

Dak doesn't look the same vs top teams, and anyone who thinks Dallas can Cooper Rush their way to a title is dreaming. Enjoy the run while it lasts.

And yes you Dak haters should admit, he will get get the offense rolling once he returns.

I freely admit Dak will put up big stats when he returns. He will beat sub .500 teams, and the good teams he will put up great stats against when they have pulled far enough ahead that they are playing loose defense.
But the real winning will be over if Dak goes back as starter. He'll beat easy teams, but not good teams. Period.

But hey, it is not in your narrative to apply that to others, only Dak.
