It’s been a while since #7 has made a play. It’s been a while but I feel he’s going to make a big play for us soon. He has not been playing his best ball lately but there’s something telling me that he’s going to make a big play this season that will close a big game for us
he will have an int tonight

Last year he was among the worst players in yards against, how is he doing this year in this regard?

He’s been a shutdown corner this year and QB’s have shied away from throwing to his guy. He held Justin Jefferson and Jamarr Chase down this year. Not to mention 1 catch for 11 yards the first meeting with AJ Brown.

The “make a play” mindset is what got him burned versus Philly. I hope he doesn’t start getting anxious to make something happen. Keep being disciplined and shutting down the WR Trevon! I know it’s boring but we need it.

Stop what I love Diggs

Some of you are just dramatic
You're dramatic. He's made plays. Some fans expect an ALL Pro level of play, every play and it's annoying. CB is one of the hardest positions to play and when you have 2/3 of your starting CBs playing it's understandable that the World isn't being lit on fire.

I hope he doesn't read this ....

His bad plays are generally from trying too hard to make big plays. That's when he gets burned.

If he gets a chance to make a big play, great. Otherwise I'm perfectly happy with him keeping opponents from making big plays.

I'm curious how Quinn approaches this defensive fix. It's supposed to be "bend-don't-break" but if they continue to break anyways they might need to start selling out more on creating turnovers.
4 turnovers last week alone, most in league this year for providing turnovers.

He had a "bad" game against Philly but that aside, his play has been top notch. Go ask Jefferson or Chase to name their toughest opponent.

My issue is the CB2 position. QBs are staying away from Diggs as they have an alternative to attack. I'm still annoyed Joseph didn't pan out. Imagine if we had 2 high end CBs on the back end. Diggs would be feasting and if he wasn't, the pass rush would be with the extra 1 or 2 seconds a great CB tandem would provide.

Get a high end CB in FA next year and/or the draft and watch the impact on the whole D.

Diggs is a cornerstone, not a question mark.

He has been sick.
Maybe that's affected his play ?
Hopefully he has recovered and will get a pick 6 for us today.

If “ a play” is an int that’s true
But covering your guy, defending a pass is a play

,,, and in the last three weeks Dallas ranks dead last in Opponent Third Down Conversion Percentage and they're giving up massive points. More turnovers needed,,, or more punts.

I’m more concerned with the plays he doesn’t make than the ones he does. He’s starting to gamble again and has clearly been out of position so hopefully he gets back to taking care of his responsibilities and not gambling so much.

Trying to pad those stats. Just play good ball and the turnovers will come.
