It’s coaching malpractice to start Ball over Peters

Just because some egotistical person vouched for Ball doesn’t mean he gets to start over Peters. If Ball does start Dak demands additional 10 million dollars for playing with only 4 offensive lineman .

Peters cannot last a full game. He has to be in a rotation. Even last year with the Bears, he would take plays off. Peters is good for maybe 20-30 plays a game, tops. He won't be the solution by himself.

I think it may come down to Peters' age. He is 40. Can he play an entire game at RT and if so would there be enough left of him to play the next week? Right now it sounds as if they plan on splitting the reps between the two. I would assume the reason to split reps is to give Peters some rest. Based on talent alone you are correct.

Peters is good for a whole game and even if he takes some plays off which he doesn’t he is still exponentially better than Ball.

Having 2 TE set and running game will have Peters playing at pro bowl level like he showcased if in the game winning drive.

It's like the RB spot. Doesn't matter who starts. Everyone sees snaps.

It’s nothing like the RB position, its disrespectful to even mention that Ball can play at level Zeke and Pollard are playing at.

When Peters is in the offense is alway scoring and when Ball is in offense is alway punting.

I watch Peters for years in Philly. The last four years there he was always hurt. You can’t play him a whole game and hope he holds up. He needs to be in a rotation.

I watched Peters and he was playing more snaps than Tyron. If always injured Tyron can play then Peters is light years ahead of brittle bacon Smith.

You sound like you are Ball’s agent.

As long as our coaches have kept up with their malpractice insurance, there shouldn't be a problem.

It's also egotistical to conclude that Peters will play a full game at RT. Instead, mix playing time between both. Whoever gets the first snap is less relevant.

I don’t believe you’re telling the truth there is a half lie in there.
You also think that the cowboys medical staff was lying to Jerry about OBJ. LOL. I am still waiting to hear why Tyron is practicing when you said he wouldnt be

I’m from Philly/South Jersey area before I escaped to SW Florida last year. I’ve probably seen more of Peters than anyone on these boards. If you’re putting your money on Peters better get insurance.

I’ll hold my stance on Peters until proven wrong in the game.

No I said Tyron is always injured even after a supposed successful rehab.

Give young Mr Ball a chance.

Everyone hates the man because of the despicable thing he admitted to years ago and wants him to fail.

He deserves a second chance like others in the NFL get all the time. Mr Vick comes to mind. Its not right to pick n choose who gets that chance.

If Mr Ball starts/plays...I wish him well.

Go Cowboys!

I agree with OP on this one. I would always choose the Peters over a Ball.
