Anybody can deny that the genre is not played out. As has been supported by the actual revenue numbers. Justice League's issues are just that, Justice League's issues.

It's fine if it's not your thing.

Would asking any member (with the intention, mind you) to poop, wipe, not flush, and permanently exit my celebration thread be an impossible request?

There is a pile.

Over there is a little hill.

Hey. That one over there has birthed flies already.

Isn’t one or two or a half dozen smelly reminders be enough to let anyone know someone else ate a bad burrito? Is it necessary to finally dust off and hang the proverbial ‘No Shirt No Shoes No Service’ sign as a counter to diarrhea?

Your opinion is duly noted. Why you feel the need to get nasty about things is puzzling. It's not your thing, we get it. But why the need to try to crap on something that a great many people obviously enjoy?

The latest Justice League may cost the studio 100s of millions

They needed $600 million to break even. Its past $617 Million so it will at least make some money.

Of the top ten highest grossing films in 2017, six are comic book movies. (Justice League was #10).

Of the top ten highest grossing films in 2016, four were comic book movies.

So yeah, in a skewed way, Justice League has passed Transformers: The Last Knight ($130 million domestic/$605m worldwide) to become the highest-grossing "flop" of all time. No, it won't be the biggest money loser. Hell, after post-theatrical (give or take an extended cut) it may well break even. But there is no movie that will have made as much as Justice League that was still considered a "studio reacts and course-corrects" whiff.

I am not some leper because I think Hollywood has made waaaaaayyyyy too many SuperHero movies

My point--they don't make way too many because it what the people want. Supply & Demand. Are there better movies being made? Of course there are, but people don't come out in droves to see them.

OK. I'm curious whether they can make Hulu a real competitor of Netflix and what role net neutrality plays. The possibilities for streaming services seem to me a significant issue here. I'm wondering how the sports networks might affect future NFL deals and the expansion of streaming sports options. I think they want to channel a lot more through Hulu, and the timing of today's ruling on net neutrality is fascinating.

I don't even think they're going to put all this on Hulu.

I still think they'll start another product rather than inherit Hulu's legacy.
