That’s more of an indictment of what happened all year than it is a celebration of his performance todayIMO Pollard ran better today than all year…?

That was the inability to STOP the run.Is that why we gave up 50 points ?
But...he doesnt have to help the other team with ints/ pik 6's..You could have placed any QB behind center today, he would have failed with no run game and our WRs not getting open. Period. End of story/discussion.
I could see from first kickoff, Cowboys weren't right.we have been hearing this for the last 30-40-50 years? Teams can do all high flying fancy offensive schemes in regular season but in playoffs -- If you can't run or can't stop the run -- you cannot win. We were bad in both the whole regular season and against good teams in regular season, we got exposed in those depts (check SF, Bills, Dophins and Lions games)
14 of those were Daks but the D is built for playing with a big lead and constant pressure on the QB down 27 points and it’s all out the window. The offense can’t play 1/2 a quarter of good football but go ahead and blame the DIs that why we gave up 50 points ?
Guess what happens to the points we score and the amount of time their offense os on the field to score points ?Is that why we gave up 50 points ?
Wrong. It’s not the entire reason we lost. Not even the most important reason lolGuess what happens to the points we score and the amount of time their offense os on the field to score points ?
You guys just cant wrap your head around the fact that the run game is important
That literally started the first drive of the game. And the defense was always going to be worn down after that first drive. It was devastating and the CeeDee Lamb third down drop made it even more devastating.I mean getting killed in the time of possession was part of it
He was God Awful today. Very off to begin and throughout the first half. The only points at the end of the first half were heavily influenced by referee involvement. The offense struggled against the better defenses this season several times. It is a trend for Dak to not look good against those defenses. He put up extremely good numbers against the worst opponents, and the league is not filled with high end QB play this season. Mahomes looking like he does really need some more heavy duty weapons. Burrow getting injured.Dak definitely struggled, hands down. But that says alot anytime a quarterback could make 2nd team All Pro without a running game all year.
Dak isn't elite, but we wouldn't have even been in the playoffs without him. How many good, great OR elite quarterbacks can succeed without a running game?
Mahomes is the only one I could think of.
An unreliable QB?.......you just made an excuse about this team that has relied on the QB to be everything and a masker of bigger issues. Green Bay played "coverage" and tendencies to depend on one WR, expect our small WR to catch in tight coverages, and know our OL wasn't to be respected to open holes or pass protect on a consistent basis to ensure balance, as GB did with Aaron Jones. We got "played", "punk'd" and outcoached. The run game stinking up the joint was a major problem. Dak started struggling and we had nothing to lean on. Without a run game we had to keep going back to Dak and it just snowballed the problems. We need to get back to having a run game and not relying on an unreliable QB. The next coach has to make that their number 1 priority.
No one said that but its a significant part of the reasonWrong. It’s not the entire reason we lost. Not even the most important reason lol
The title of this thread is literally “it all boils down to”No one said that but its a significant part of the reason
Bad defense
Bad QB play
Inability to run the ball
Penalties
Everything adds up

Oy.Name a better combo than boomer fans obsessed with 3-4 yard runs.
Jordan Love, CJ Stroud, Matthew Stafford. All similar rushing numbers or worse. They didn’t get 12 wins, but there are few teams that did, lol. They are playoff teams thoughOut of all the quarterbacks in the top 5 to 10.... tell me which one of them have a running game than we do.
Dak definitely struggled, but other than Mahomes, what quarterbacks have had to play in a one dimensional offense all year and still got to 12 wins?
