It all makes sense...Cowboys conspiracy

We were 8-3 and all of a sudden started losing...and here's why we'll end up 8-8:

The whole thing smells of a conspiracy. It just hit me; if we end up not making the playoffs. it puts a lot less restrictions on who we can sign with the uncapped year looming upon us. We could have easily been 12-4 but Jerry intentionally pulled off the dogs. I don't think Jerry thought we would win more than 8 games this year and he's putting all of our eggs in one basket with the uncapped year. This is why we're losing and it all makes sense why we'll win the Super Bowl next year.

Prob not lol...I just wouldn't put anything past Jerry at this point. He's been the one constant we've had throughout this embarrassing playoff drought.

Nope because there were no uncapped years looming. It's sad because Parcells built this team back up to being competitive again, and then when he finally finds his QB, he quits on the team. I guarantee we win a playoff game if Parcells was coaching the 07' squad. It's just a shame the way things worked out, but Jerry did hire Wade and the team has taken up the personality of its head coach.

I don't think there's a conspiracy. I think this team has a year in year out trend of being chokesters, for whatever reason.

Right now I don't think Jerry will blow lots of cash in an uncapped year, he's too busy trying to save money and get a return on the chunk of cash he blew on Taj Ma Jethro. He'll just stick a new coach in there in '10 and sell it like this is the year we go all the way and in our own stadium at that, and these gullible Cowboys fans will buy everyword out of his mouth. But anyway I think that's why Wade is still coach this year, he didn't want to waste the money on Wades final year on top of paying for a new HC this season.

Overall I think Jerry's getting cheap. Never thought I'd say that but it's a tough economy for everyone. Jerry couldn't have picked a worse time to have that huge stadium complete. On top of all that I think he's having trouble selling the stadiums naming rights. I believe Jerry was heavily counting on a naming rights deal to pay himself back. I haven't heard anything about that lately though. I'm far too busy anymore to keep up with everything Cowboys these days.

What exactly do you base this on considering he just laid out a huge chunck of change for Ware? I believe it was in the $70 mill range with $40 mill guaranted, that does not sound like being cheap to me.

The Boyz have never lost a player they wanted to keep over money, Jerry has always paid to keep the team together. If Jerry was cheap, why would he pay Barber $8 mill a year to split carries with 2 other backs???

What about Ken Hamlin??? Dude has one good season and Jerry throws a nice big extension his way and now the guy has turned into Casper. Like I said, I dont see where you are getting that Jerry is going cheap.
