You can do this for every single team in the league. The Patriots have Gronk and a whole lot of not much. The Ravens picked Ray Rice and bunch of nobodies. The Saints have Roman Harper and nothing. The Broncos literally have nothing to show for their last 18 2nd round picks..

Mentality is boom/bust. That's Jerry right there. But they are going strictly by their board. That hasn't been a bad thing. Nfl players are very risky proposition. Do a draft starters count here or elsewhere. Sometimes they don't blossom here

I made that point in another post. our picks from 2-7 have been pretty bad over the years. they seem to take a lot of risk in the 2nd round, as opposed to take a solid player. imagine if we had solid players in the past 5 drafts....outside of Lawrence...all have been big gambles...

I dont get it. Lawrence is emerging player. Lee is very good. Bennett when given time was good. Gregory is incomplete. I know you attempted to solidify your point but dont think its been as bad as you think. I know its easy to take shots at Jaylon Smith right now but lets check back on this in year. But do me a favor...place your disdain for Smith in your sig so we know who you are in year from now.

Aren't all those guys (except for the ones from 12 years ago) still in the league? Not many Hall of Fame players in the 2nd round in general for any team. If you get some starters for a few years out of half of those taken in 2nd-3rd rounds you're doing pretty good.
