It is now official. We won the Parsons trade

I would have traded Micah for Quinnen straight up and never looked back.

We also get Clark and a move up in the draft from our 2nd rounder to their first round pick in 2026.

I think we also win by having less guys sleeping on the trainer’s table during games

Debate all you want but we all know Williams is a better player than Parsons plus we get an extra first round pick.
I do think the 3-tech position is more important than DE, especially in our alignment, and we've been looking for a good one for a long, long time.

If you'd have told me we'd get Kenny Clark, Quinnen Williams and a first for Parsons, a second and Mazi Smith, I'd have considered that a fair swap in value.

Packers are a division leader and Super Bowl favorite for the NFC this year. Cowboys can't beat any team with a .500 or better record. Keep deluding yourself.
Did anyone look at the Jets defense this season and notice that the Cowboys destroyed them with four backup offensive linemen. I didn’t notice Williams at all. Williams hasn’t played great no sacks this season.

Yep. He is on the wrong side of twenty five. Football is a young man's game. 27 is no spring chicken in the NFL.

The overall pick calculation remains to be seen, but losing our first and second is about the same as gaining two GB firsts.

So, Micah or Quinnen. Both are great.
Got to go Kenny Clark or Mazi Smith as well. I'll take Clark in that equation. He may not be as good as he once was, but he still can play well at times. And that should improve with Williams next to him.

Oh, of course. He’s levels above Mazi. It’s too bad his contract is 21m next year

The Packers don't look like a Super Bowl favorite at this point.
Keep watching when it counts rambo. The seahawks and lions can't beat them. And those two are the biggest threats at the moment.

The eagles are a factor but their defense is not as good as last year. The rams or forty niners are a dark horse candidate depending on their health at the end of the season.

I don't disagree, but in all fairness we have not used either of GB's picks yet.

All we have done is trade 2 of our own picks and Mazi for Williams.

So technically the trade has not been completed yet.

However, I agree Williams is the better player and currently cheaper and significantly more physical, and that is what we have been desperately needing.
