Ummm.... he was 34 when he joined Portland.

You might be onto something here: wing players tend to slow down when they get older.

It wasn't that. He looked like a joke all the way around - he really took on a good bit of the Rasheed Wallace personality when he was out there.

Anyone that willingly goes to play with Damon Stoudemire and Rasheed Wallace gets knocked down a notch in my book.

The good thing is, most people forgot about that part of his career and just remember the glory days - same with people forgetting about Michael Jordan's stint with the Wizards.

2nd fiddle fellas...2nd fiddle.

Kobe, Lebron, Duncan, Shaq, the ******** German, Wade, and anyone else playing today would be second fiddle on Jordan's team.

You can hardly hold that against Pippen.

He was "second fiddle" to the greatest Basketball player who ever played the game ....... I think I could live with that.

Exactly.

Pippen led his Jordan less teams to the 2nd round of the playoffs... and is probably a bad call away from going deeper.

There's is no, and should be no shame in being compared to one of the top 50 greatest players of all time.
