It seems every time Rush targets Mingo he throws a bad pass

Mingo created enough separation on 2 of his 4 targets. On the deep route, the pass was well short but Mingo had the CB beat. In the 3rd quarter Brady made a joke from Major League how bad the pass was and Mingo created more than enough separation.
Yeah because wr separation is the only component of a pass play.

he certainly didn’t do him any favors. i will say though, despite the abysmal (lack of) production, he looks the part. after laughing about the trade and having zero expectations, im intrigued by him
I absolutely agree. I thought he had some good routes and just didn't get many chances with the way the ball was thrown his way.

They have worked together for only a couple weeks and people are not understanding that QB WR chemistry and timing takes time. Not surprised and a little saddened.

What’s intriguing about him, if you don’t mind me asking?

Underwhelming as a pass catcher for sure. Solid run blocker though.

The passing game should see an uptick with Cooks back on the field and Ferg returning.

But nothing will help more than actually running the ball moderately well. Good to see some improvement there at least
Unfortunately MM abandons the run quite of bit during the game. Such as the last 3 possessions of the 1st half starting at 6:07 left. The last possession 3 straight incompletions running a whopping 12 seconds off the clock to give NY a chance to score before half then receive 2nd half kickoff.

Rush can’t throw. He knows the offense but he has a bee bee gun for an arm. Mingo reminds me of Noah Brown. We won’t see what he can do until Dak returns unfortunately. The kid can block though. Mingo cold cocked a linebacker on a sweep play.
I'm not going there, while I agree that Rush has average arm strength his mental game and understanding of basic play design and ability to execute should be evident by now.

big target, he *looks* physical. last week when he dove to reel in a catch he looked dynamic. on his go routes he seems to have some wheels. this year i have had a tendency to be unsure what receiver i was even looking at if it wasn’t ceedee, they just blended together. except mingo.

Average? No. Not close to average.

Head for the game? Best in the NFL.

He has enough arm strength to execute a conservative dialed down yet effective offense.
We all know who Rush is already, but I'm at least respecting a decent game plan designed for him, and Rush is finding his pace and place in the game.
He has taken giant steps since his first intro when Dak went down and out and for that I give Rush props for showing such early execution and control of this offense.
The defense seems to play in tune with a Rush led offense for whatever strange reason, but it does seem to be true.

He's been running a lot of go routes with a QB that looks like he throws with the wrong arm.

Believe me. It won't be long before CeeDee Lamb is considered our #2 WR.
