I'm not knocking Ogletree by any means but I'm not surprised he is not playing right now, I think the more he shows the coaches and they feel he is ready he will get his opportunities

If true, it supports the assumption that Jerry Jones:Bach;3040708 said:If Jerry wanted him to play right now, he'd play right now.

- Trust his coach(es) judgment
- Considers Roy Williams and Miles Austin his top wide receiver duo
- Both of the above
Not during 2009 I don't. In my opinion, Patrick Crayton is the #3 receiver now that Miles Austin has established himself. My comment had more to do with what I consider Jones is thinking though.Bob Sacamano;3040740 said:so you're saying you think Ogletree is going to be our #3 WR?
If you see Randall Williams in the kid then you should just give up football watching dude.raichledog;3040912 said:does anyone else think Randal Williams when you hear the name Ogletree? I haven't seen this kind of fan love for a completely unprooven wr since Mr. 4.1 40 himself

hendog;3040577 said:I agree with you. So why do they seem so reluctant to give him an opportunity. Or am I just being impatient? I realize two months into the season is a very small window for an NFL rookie to qualify playing time.
tyke1doe;3040974 said:You're being impatient. Who is Olgetree going to replace? When is he going to get in?
Right now, he's not better than Roy, Miles, Hurd or Crayton. We haven't jumped out to a 42-0 lead early enough to insert Olgetree into the lineup. And even if we did, you don't throw the ball in those situations anyway.
Olgetree will get his chances, just not now. As has been stated, he has to develop chemistry with Romo. When is he going to be able to do that, especially with him being five deep in the wide receiver pecking order.
SilverStarCowboy;3040965 said:Is it that far fetched that Ogletree could be a #1 WR eventualy. One thing is for certain IMhO he should have seen the field early in the season.
..and don't forget about Manuel Johnson on the practice Squad, there is something about him too, you see some quick twitch natural ability in both of the rookie WRs.
