I would love to see Ogletree get some WR reps but first he needs to prove he can provide something else to the team. Give them an excuse to make you active, I have faith the kid has some game.

I think that's actually a reason why it is important that Ogletree play special teams well to be active.

I agree. Just because they have plenty of one trick panties is enough reason why I don't think we can afford to bring in Ogletree if he can't play special teams. We can't afford one more guy who can just do one thing.

I don't even think we can afford to even have Rossum when healthy. It made it worth it because he's or was a great special teams player. I'm not sure how much better this team will be with Ogletree out there. The offense is killing it right now.

I'm not knocking Ogletree by any means but I'm not surprised he is not playing right now, I think the more he shows the coaches and they feel he is ready he will get his opportunities

True but Jerry is not trying to be the HC and does listen to them. He says these things he has no desire to be the HC but many here do not listen to that or shrug if off. Based on the little I have seen with Ogletree I would think Jerry would like him but Jerry is not trying to coach this team he has coaches to do that. When they feel Ogletree is ready I'm sure they will play him. Just as it was when BP was here and the peanut gallery wanted Romo, BP did not do it until he felt Romo was ready that is being fair to the team and to the player.

Not during 2009 I don't. In my opinion, Patrick Crayton is the #3 receiver now that Miles Austin has established himself. My comment had more to do with what I consider Jones is thinking though.

LOL, 1st of all - dude - I didn't say I thought he looks like Randal Williams, I asked if the man love so many idiots in here show him reminds anyone of Randal Williams. 2nd you - dude - will have to help me with this one. Exactly what football have you been watching where you - dude - have SEEN Ogletree because I only remember him playing 1 freaking game and he fumbled in one of his only touches... oh, and it was returning a kick not playing wr. If the coaches don't put him in at wr it should tell you something dude.

I'm not saying that he won't ever be any good... I mean look at Miles Austin, undrafted fa who is lighting it up, but remember it took him 4 years to do anything - dude - so lets not get a head of our selves in annointing him.

..and don't forget about Manuel Johnson on the practice Squad, there is something about him too, you see some quick twitch natural ability in both of the rookie WRs.

Right now, he's not better than Roy, Miles, Hurd or Crayton. We haven't jumped out to a 42-0 lead early enough to insert Olgetree into the lineup. And even if we did, you don't throw the ball in those situations anyway.

Olgetree will get his chances, just not now. As has been stated, he has to develop chemistry with Romo. When is he going to be able to do that, especially with him being five deep in the wide receiver pecking order.

Roy didn't look right with those bruised ribs, so it won't be long before defenses decide to cover him with just one man until he can prove he can beat it and get looks from Romo. So under that condition, I'd rahter have Ogletree talking on that singe-coverage because at least with his speed he can draw the safety away deep. Roy Williams is not threatening that right now.

yes, in all honesty, it is far fetched. How many ufa's have turned into legit #1's? Miles is showing a lot of signs that he might be on the way there but lets not get ahead of ourselves here, it's 2 games... 2 great games but still 2 games. Other than him who is a legit #1 that was a ufa?

I'm not trying to be hard on the guy or anything, I'd love it IF he turned into something more than a jag but for now, that's what he is.
