It's no longer if, it's when.
How long are we gonna head down this road to nowhere?
This week he'll have 0 pressure, a wide open pocket, and he'll look like an all pro. The week after the bye, it won't be so pretty.

Yah where he has all day to throw, nice clean pocket, no one around him? Must be nice to be brock. Any qbs dream.
This and he has a guy wide open. People act like he was running for his life and make great throws. He went to a great situation in the 49ers who has the best or top 5 oline and probably the best supporting cast in the NFL. Top 5 defense who is a legit defense not our fraud top 5 defense. Their defense actually make stops and is physical. Our defense is only good when we build a lead. Now Brock is doing good in the 49ers system. But I bet if u put Brock on the Panthers or the Giants we wouldn't even be having this conversation right now. But I will say this he looked pretty accurate and was making the throws. You can't fault him for that. I hope the 49ers make him the top paid QB in the NFL. So far they have it great. Brock salary is laughable compared to the rest of the NFL starting QB's. That's when we going to see if the 49ers can build a team. Once the QB start making big big bucks your going to have to make some big time decisions on who to keep and who to let go.

Dak had the best OL for years and he couldn’t do Jack squat except drive the bus. If Dak was on the Panthers or Giants he would have already been out the league. Like I said years ago, Dak will waste the tight SB window including Zeke’s best years, his OL won’t be the best in the league in a few years, but still be good and his fanboys will blame the personnel among other things, not the Jason Garrett project of QBs. Dak is in year 8, not year 1 and a half like Purdy. Dak completely blew in 2017, like he was straight garbage.

Dak is better than Purdy. Even Jerry Jones knows that!
Purdy was drafted last and Dak in the 4th round.
Dak has to be better than the last pick in the NFL draft!

Not blame……envy. Despite what many think there is more wrong with this team than dak getting old.

Why can't our guy make throws like this? It wasn't exactly a difficult pass to complete. Only 14 games under his belt and Purdy can already see the field much better than Dak.
Dak is not playing at the level of Purdy.
Dak has regressed.
It's sad to see.

On the other hand, Dak is STARING right at his WRs from the slot, both running quick slants, both have inside leverage, but he starts looking to the right and sees the defender, pulls it in and takes a sack. It’s again an issue of slow processing time and a sack that is HIS FAULT.

How disappointing was our starting 5 offensive line? Terence Steele has not been the same since he came back from injury.

SF is just a bad match-up for the Cowboys. The Cowboys are still an above-average professional football team, capable of beating most teams. However, injuries are taking a toll on this team's ability to remain above average. We'll see next week against the Chargers just how capable our Cowboys really are.

Dak doesn’t see the field well; he may be able to read defenses, but he doesn’t process information quickly; and he is inaccurate.
As another poster pointed out. Purdy was quickly finding his 2nd and 3rd reads and throwing the ball before the WRs were into their breaks, giving the defender less time to react. He was hitting the WRs in stride. SF was using motion to give their WRs a free release.
Why can’t MM incorporate some of that into his WCO? He is either not as smart or creative as people have alluded to, or he has no trust in his QB.

.....may want to look at our team's route running and formations, to begin with. We're as predictable as tomorrow.
Yeah we know, every receiver we have had since Cooper, sucks. They can’t run correct routes, catch, or jump 18 feet in the air to catch “catchable” passes.

Purdy is the perfect example of why I hate the obsession with "measurables." Simply because there are certain super-important qualities in a player that cannot be discerned with a tape measure or stopwatch (q.v. Brock Purdy, Kurt Warner, Tom Brady).
Outliers don’t make the norm.

Not really, but Gallup for example.....when does he run crisp routes? When do the routes "clear" coverages instead of placing our WRs in the same area? When do the slant routes avoid another tier of coverage? When do our formations "fool" the defense? (Not much motion). Why does our QB throw into tight coverage? Our #1 WR was never in the "game plan". Running game doesn't scare the top teams. But if the need comes to draft a new QB.......do you really trust the Draft Room?

I agree on the running game. I was never a believer that what we had would be able to force defenses to plan for it. Maybe the offensive scheme is because it’s what QB can grasp. Very rarely are receivers wide open on any team. QB should be able to make tight throws amd throw receivers open. The D can only do so much when they are in the field so much.

The difference in the two clips is the style of defense being played by the defenses. Purdy and the 49ers were afforded loose coverage & our d-backs are five to seven yards off of the receivers. They can do what they want in that scenario. opens it up for timing routes, slants, etc.

On the other hand, look at how they are playing our offense with very tight coverage. There's nowhere to throw the ball right away. This is the style of defense we should have been playing on them. (Looking at DQ) but it's disengenuous to say that they both have the same opportunities throughout the game and in the two clips presented.

It was a team loss and everyone failed. QB, wrs, rbs, defense, coaching,. Everyone. Let it blow in The wind and move on to the next one.

you could put a blindfold on Purdy and he could still see the field better than dak. sheesh
Look at CM, lined up on the right edge to show block, but leaked out. He was wide open on the "checkdown" route, but Purdy made the most difficult throw, exploiting the middle on a cover 2 look and was dead on with his anticipation of the throw, dropping in right in the middle. This guy hasn't even started a full season numbe rof games and he's reacting like this against one of the BEST defenses in football. We've seen Dak just panic against zone as an 8 year veteran and go immediately to his checkdown read or just try and bail the pocket and make a play.
