Only 9 miilion of Thornton's deal is guaranteed. I don't think we're tied to him like we are Crawford, and should absolutely go 1T if BPA calls for it, in my opinion.

It's not a horrible contract but with limited resources and so many holes we seemed to focus on the wrong position with our one significant FA acquisiton.

If not Spence, take Billings. Even as a reserve in yr 1, Billings can give you 20-25 good snaps and has a chance to develop into a very good starter.
