hopefully even deeper than that. this is actually the first time in years that i think the Rangers can possibly make the playoffs. they added some key pieces and hopefully they perform. Also it would be awesome if we could get Clemens

I realized some time ago I am no longer a sports fan.

Basketball bores me. I hate the whole bracket thingy in college basketball and rich whiny millionaires in underware doesn't do it for me.

Baseball is full of strikes and cry babies and cheaters anymore. I lost interest after the last strike when I had to get refunded for my first in a lifetime season tickets to the Phillies. I never went back. I couldn't care less about any of them.

Hockey is a sport I just don't get. Guys on skates trying to knock each others teeth out intrupted by an occasional goal. They need to make up their mind. Are they playing hockey or ultimate fighting?

Tennis, Golf and bowling reall aren't sports because there are no serious prospects for injury. Unless you count blisters and I don't.

All I really care about is College and Pro football and NASCAR (now there is some serious prospects for injury!)

To me that's all there is. Football and Racing. And I am just fine with that.

Anyone see Puljos today? 2 HRs. He'll have the best year of his career, which is saying a lot....he has a career year every year. Rolen's healthy, Edmonds has lost a step in center, but I like our chances.....if Ponson can keep his act together we struck gold there.

Actually, I'm a new recuit.

I'm, of course, a Cowboy fan. My wife is a Cardinal fan....she still whines about '85.

I have her converted....so I've returned the favor.

She took me on my 26th B-day to see Mark Mcgwire play. He hit a steroid-aided 450 homer that day.

Any word on Wainwright? I was hoping this would be the year he contributed.

It just cannot get here quick enough. I'd rather watch HGTV than baseball... I mean, I'm not goin' "brokeback" on everyone... but I really hate baseball.

Football is my passion. The draft is an oasis in the proverbial desert that is the nfl offseason. It gets me through 'till August.

Once we complete the draft, the vast majority of our roster is set. I then have a few months to tinker with the roster and try to figure out what kind of team we're going to have.

I particularly like the character and work ethic this team is shaping up to have. Parcells is managing to do the best possible thing... he's putting together a blue collar roster that has talent (i.e. Ware, Spears, etc.). Difficult to do but it pays big dividends if you can manage it.

I may get to see the Yankees versus the Blue Jays the day before the Draft. I don't like the Yankees much but it would be fun to go to Yankee Stadium and feel the history.
