I am not saying he never had an inkling of doubt about returning. What I am saying is if he is coming back don't expect an announcent

I see no problem with Bill or any coach taking a few days off to think about what they want to do. Players do it as well after the season is over. As long as this does not run into weeks I just don't see the problem with a little self evaluation.

And some have speculated that this is all a ploy for BP to make more dollars.

I read alot of posts saying parcells should make up his mind ect. ect. Seriously other than only being 4 days since our last game, do you seriously expect parcells to call a press conference to announce that he is keeping the job that is already his? By not hearing anything has told us all we need to know. Parcells is at work, he is not gonna come out and say he is staying when he is already under contract.

Those who want him to stay better hope a press conference isnt called because if one is, it can be for only 2 things an extention or him leaving

1. Parcells Watch

First things first, the Cowboys have to deal with their coaching staff, and that seems to include Parcells, who said after the season-finale loss to the Rams that he was unsure of his status for next season.

While there has been much speculation Parcells might not return for the final year on his four-year contract he signed in January of 2003, the coach only said "he needed some time away from it all" when asked about making any decisions.

Parcells, 64, has not answered any questions concerning his future for the last few weeks after reports first surfaced he is contemplating retirement.

While Parcells has given no timetable for making his decision, don't expect this uncertainty to last too long.

Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones has said he doesn't expect this to linger for more than a couple of days.
