its been 7 years

wow.
I do remember it like it was yesterday.

man time flies.
at least those who were lost that day are equally vivid in our memories.

God bless all those who lost their lives. I'll wear my FDNY tee shirt tomorrow.

I remember that day quite vividly.

I was a Freshman in high school and was sitting in a Social Studies class when we got the news of the attacks.

God Bless all the people who lost their lives that day and their families. And God Bless America.

I do too-- it was the day after I buried my Mom...

It took me a few days to get really upset, I was pretty much emotionally numb...

I was in the car on he way to work listening to Howard Stern as it all happened.

God Bless

Suprised at all the "seems like yesterday" posts.

If feels like it was much, much longer than 7 years ago, IMO.

I got kicked out of Disney that day. First time it has ever closed. Not a good time to be on vacation or maybe it was since I am from NY.

I was too listening to Howard!...they broke it down and remained on air for the longest.

I was in the car listening to either The Ticket or 97.1 the Eagle when it happen, but the whoever it was I was listening too hadn't said anything by the time I exited the car. The second I got into the office, a co-worker of mine that arrives 30 minutes earlier than I had the TV on in the media room and was already searching the web for more information.

So far this morning the only thing I've noticed about my commute to lower Manhattan is that there are less people commuting this morning.

A friend called to tell me to turn on the news, that a plane had hit one of the towers. I was watching that coverage when the 2nd plane hit and I knew neither was an accident.

I'm not sure what was eerier for me. When the faces of the 19 hijackers were on TV and I recognized one of them. Or not hearing planes flying for the next week. It was a sad time in our nation. One that I will never forget.

It still pisses me off.

I was medically discharged from the USN because I got hurt during a training mission.

I was so angry that it happened I was trying to figure out a way to get back in.

I lost a lot of friends since that time.
