After a while, I guess it becomes background noise. I personally cannot get to sleep if it's perfectly quiet. I need the white noise machine.

Luckly they usually don't fly at night because of a noise ordinence. However, they do train at night but not often...some noisy damn things I tell you. They are so close that I can actually see the bombs and crap they carry. Very obnoxious...

It was eery to not see any flights for that week after 9/11. Not even military flights for the most part.

I live in a town with a major air force base, mainly a training base, and here it was just the opposite... There were tons and tons of training jets in the air all the time. Of course we all knew why, but in a way that was just as eerie.

Whenever it's introduced, soccer is a different and separate perspective into this particular forum. Not that it really matters. For example, writing about how Jessica Simpson sneezes whenever Tony Romo peppers his food is an alternative perspective. So, it's all good when you really think about it.
