Makes you really realize what a cluster **** this team is.

life can go by quickly, can't it? that man accomplished more than most of us will ever dream of.

Drafted in the 20th round of the 1947 NFL Draft. Pick #184.

Two people that gave me great childhood memories passed away that day.

Coach Landry and Charles M Schulz.

I always appreciate it when you mark this date for us, Hos... I like to take a few minutes to think about him every now and then...

I have visited his resting place a number of times. In my opinion he was one of te greatest coaches that ever lived. I wish we had a coach of his caliber here now coaching Americas team.

He is buried at the Hillcrest Funeral Home almost on the corner of 75 and Loop 12 for anyone who has ever wondered

The only reason I know this is because my cousin is buried about 100 yards from him, he was a diehard cowboy fan as well.

Here's Tom's reaction to Jackie Smith's drop in the endzone of Super Bowl XIII. Yes, that really is what he was reacting to.

Not many people know this, but this classic shot is Tom addressing reporters after the death of Clint Murchison, the Cowboys 1st owner who hired Tom.

Thanks Hos. I remember seeing that cartoon the day after. I copied and saved it to my computer.
I thought of it as soon as you mentioned it, and just happened to have a copy. I think that cartoon inspired a lot of us it seems.

Thanks Hos. Seeing those old pics of Landry remind me we shouldn't take people for granted. He was a great person. I miss the "Tom Landry Show" and I learned a lot about football watching and listening to him and Tex Schramm when I was a lil kid. Enjoyed Landry explaining plays on the highlight reels they showed.

Walt Garrison was once asked if Tom ever smiled. He said, "I don't know. I only played there 9 years. I do know he's smiled at least 3 times in his life because eh has 3 daughters."

I couldn't find the Surrounded by Commanders commercial for American Express and I know I have seen it.
