That really needs to be fixed some how.

Some of that can be blamed on the kickers for missing, but still........

Yeah, but still. The drives died. Too many people with their hate of kickers, but those every down players LEFT it up to the kicker.

Kickers are the greatest when they win it for you but nobody can stand them when they miss. Like it or not kickers are usually high on the scoring list so it would behoove us to pay to get a reliable kicker....

But just think back to 1998 or 1999....Vikings in the Championship game....late in the 4th qtr...their kicker didn't miss one the ENTIRE year....until that kick. Highly loved because he actually helped get them there.....but we was to blame for the loss....not the team for actually getting it into the EZ.

One of the best is Kaeding and he even missed one yesterday. It's just one of those positions. I swear, kickers need to keep track of everytime a lineman somebody misses an assignment that takes them OUT of FG range....just as bad as a missed FG attempt IMO.

Umm that was proven wrong Sunday. He's a game past one. He's going on game two. That ain't one and done. One and done is basically what we did.

If the Vikings lose this weekend, they did a one and done just like us.

But the one thing that fans fail to take into account is that they don't have all the neccessary information to make an informed decision on who is at fault when a play doesn't work.

Thats the thing...

how about we blame some of the dumb players?
how about we blame Roy for not running the correct routes?
how about we blame a player for missing a block?
how about............. just blaming the players - they dont execute and its their fault.

New concept?
